This deck is designed to be a quick life drain. Brutal Hordechief with Foul-Tongue Shriek can create some hefty damage.

Impact Tremors for some extra damage.

Mardu Shadowspear can dash to provide multiple Impact Tremors triggers and, in keeping with a theme in the deck, she deals 1 damage just for attacking.

Ruthless Ripper- I morph her in and when she gets blocked or targeted for removal I flip her to take advantage of her deathtouch and 2 life drain to the opponent.

Howl of the Horde is a great card and its utility in this particular deck is formidable. Its weakest application is with Foul-Tongue Shriek because you will always play Foul-Tongue Shriek before being able to meet Howl of the Horde raid requirement. However, lets look at some other application:

Howl of the Horde + Dragon Fodder = 6 goblins and 6 damage for 5 mana (with your Impact Tremors out).

Howl of the Horde + Hordeling Outburst = 9 goblins and 9 damage for 6 mana (with your Impact Tremors out).

Howl of the Horde + Roast = 5 damage x3 to opponents creatures for 5 mana.

Howl of the Horde + Bone Splinters = you sack only one creature and kill three of your opponents creatures for 4 mana.

Howl of the Horde + Tormenting Voice = discard a card and draw 6 cards for 5 mana.

Descent of the Dragons is here for some late game carnage as needed.

The beauty of this deck is even if they block your creatures you still have the ability to deal some great damage.
