It's a glass-cannon strategy, but one that's fun and challenging to deck-build and play at casual tables.

This is a straightforward approach to the voltron archetype. Cast equipment to draw cards, attach for free, trigger double strike, and attack using Shu Yun or one of your value-oriented creatures. You'll notice that creatures generate value or offer protection rather than suiting their combat role; the included equipment provide good enough buffs that running keywordy creatures wastes space. Artifact-matters elements improve utility: draw, token generation for carrying swords and surviving edicts, ramp. A compact Card: Sun Forger package fetches protective Red and White instants like Deflecting Swat.

There are a few infinite combos revolving around Basalt Monolith. Basalt + Crackdown Construct yields an infinitely large creature (as does crackdown + Wandering Fumarole. Basalt + Forsaken Monument or card: zirda, the dawn waker yields infinite mana, which can be channeled into Retrofitter Foundry or Urza, Lord High Artificer.
