This deck is looking to win by reanimating big threats and taking over the game with virtual card advantage in the form of creatures and spells that interact with or can be cast from the graveyard. Sidisi, Brood Tyrant plays a semi-critical role in winning, generating an army of zombies that multiply quickly with effects like Altar of Dementia, Embalmer's Tools, or Endless Ranks of the Dead. Living Death is sometimes easier than grinding out a zombie invasion though.

Since Sidisi prefers a high creature density in the deck, a bit of emphasis is given to spells-on-a-stick. For example, creatures with enters-the-battlefield abilities, such as Ravenous Chupacabra, Voidmage Husher, Eternal Witness, and Avenger of Zendikar, can be abused with Deadeye Navigator, Atzal, Cave of Eternity, or Temur Sabertooth. Creatures with activated abilities, such as Hermit Druid, Avatar of Woe, Cryptbreaker, and Gravespawn Sovereign, can be abused from the graveyard with Necrotic Ooze and Havengul Lich. The Necrotic Ooze can even function as a Temur Sabertooth, fully abusing the entire gamut of spells stapled to creatures.
