Restoration Angel should be in there probably over Champion of Lambholt

The angel comes down to save your creatures butts, or get an extra use out of huntmaster. Her ability to potentially 2 for 1 your opponent when they are targeting your creatures can't be overlooked.

I might side Champion of Lambholt for the g/r aggro or mono green match up. The angel seems tempting and would still fit the theme of being able to flash everything in. Thank you for the idea will test it out

Needs 4x Blade Splicer and 4x Thragtusk . I'd take out Wolfir Avenger and Champion of Lambholt , mostly since they're so Green-intensive.

Also, is the Red entirely necessary? Hunmaster and Kessig are good, but I feel like it might be stretching your mana-base too and slowing your deck down.

thank you, the red is essential for side board but i may try just a g/w version after i get the cards i need

For a deck with so many dual colors and some cards that need multiples of green and such, I don't think you should be messing around with wolf run and township. Sure you've got birds to fix your mana but idk it might work for you, but if you've only got that many and with no primeval titans to search them out then they must be unessential to your gameplan, and should probably be taken out for a more consistent mana base. And always playset your removal(o-ring) if your only going to have 1 card for that. I very much like Garruk Relentless  Flip . He's very splashable, removes problematic 2/2 and 1/1s without to much trouble and pumps out 2/2s. His tutoring is also very effective.

I appreciate what you are doing with this, but it seems like you are mashing two decks together. One idea i have is Birthing Pod . You have the right cmc lineup to pod right up to sigarda and huntmaster.

I like the idea of the deck - but i think you might find it more effective to make this deck Naya Pod and change the board a bit to be burn reflexive for mirror matches and zombies

This is pretty much already Naya Pod, just without Bonfire of the Damned or Birthing Pod .

i dont like playing pod or i would play a couple in my deck. the reason i made this and didnt just take a scgo list that took 1st place and copy it is i wanted a different deck that can still be a serious competitor at tournaments. anything comments that are not turn this into naya pod ill be listening to them and will help on any deck you list in comments or on my page.

Well the reason we suggest that you turn this into Naya Pod is because Naya Pod is better than this.

And no one ever said "copy and paste a decklist". You can still make Naya Pod your own way.

No need to be all defensive about it.

im sorry for sounding like that. On paper naya pod is a much better deck but i have never had luck with decks that are tier 1 (crappy draws mana problems ext). that and i played pod for 11 months so i am good on playing pod for a while. that and i like to play the random deck that people dont know what there facing. thank you for your time.

I think its pretty amazing that the entire metagame now is Green/white.

August 31, 2012 1:08 p.m.

zandl says... #16

G/W isn't even close to being the "entire metagame". Why would you think that?

August 31, 2012 1:39 p.m.

gnarlicide says... #17

G/W and G/R makes up the meta game at my shop. There are two rogue decks that are played. One of them is a RDW that I threw together for a friend when I was drunk. and the other is a mono black that I run frequently. The only time the red or black do not place in the top 5 is when some dude comes out from another state and rapes us with a pod deck. there is no artifact removal for black so I sit there and take a late game beating

Azure124 says... #18

G/W is not the whole meta its very uncommon at mine actually there is no human decks and only 1 naya pod. Wolf run and b/w tokens/exalted dominate the meta with a few random decks that show up periodically (like mine) so any suggestions are helpful

August 31, 2012 7:35 p.m.

zandl says... #19

Yeah. Spirit decks and Rogue B/x control decks are about two-thirds of my meta.

Azure124 says... #20

That's why i love Silklash Spider

August 31, 2012 7:55 p.m.

zandl says... #21

That, and Corrosive Gale .

Game-breaking in a Spirit-dominated meta.

I was thinking Slagstorm to also kill golems but my mana base couldn't support it

August 31, 2012 8:15 p.m.

zandl says... #23

Bonfire of the Damned is really the only Red board-burn anyone needs nowadays.

Nice deck +1 never played street fighter before but i could picture guile's theme here.

August 31, 2012 8:25 p.m.

vishnarg says... #25

Its suprisingly taken up a huge chunk. You have the occasional delver and tokens of course, but just look at the main page of tappedout. Literally half the standard decks, if not two thirds of them are either green red, green white, green blue, or some combonation.
