Good playtests against Delver a la Drake... it's hard to truly playtest without you yourself at the helm, because there could be decisions you'd make differently. TappedOut needs a person-to-person playtest app!!

@Long_Con I agree it would be really cool to test against real people on here
@aeonstoremyliver my mana base is really consistent due to my 8 mana dorks and as kessig isn't my main win con it helps but a field full of creatures beating them down every turn is how I win kessig makes it a little easier

Nice deck +1. Just a question: How does the strangleroot geist run with the gavony townships?
September 16, 2012 11:54 a.m.
I have never had a problem with the geist as my mana base and my mana dorks keep everything consistent (18 lands produce green and birds also help)

I meant with the plus one counters kinda negating its undying eff. Or do you only use it for the haste?

probably uses it AFTER the undying has triggered

Good point though, those two cards have an anti-synergy that will someday mean the difference between winning and losing. As in, the deck will run into a situation where it needs to Gavony everyone AND take advantage of the Undying, and a crappy choice will have to be made.
Most of the time it won't matter, but it's like a low-impact ticking time bomb in the deck. Not ideal. :)

The big thing about the township is to push that extra damage through and get lambholt stronger it doesn't have good synergy with geist but township is for the extra boost in a stalemate but I try to stay in a spot where im on the offensive at all times and force them out of place. Also do you guys think about that g/w anthem that gives +3/+3 for post rotation over green sun

I personally don't like the card, but I think if u swap em for green zenith it would make even your 1/1s quite a threat. So yes, I think it's worth a shot.

I was going to say no to Collective Blessing , but it's practically a guaranteed win if you have a Champion of Lambholt on the board. I would cut a Strangleroot Geist for another Champion if you put the Blessing in.

I really like the deck! I am going G/W when Ravnica comes out, and this really excites me...the only card I had a question about was your choice of Garruk Relentless Flip ?
September 17, 2012 10:04 a.m.
garruk is there to throw tokens in to pump lambholt and his tutor ability. it has great synergy in here he will become more valuable after rotation hits.

Yeah, I didn't think about that much. I'm running a mono-green deck now (which is posted), and still has a lot of flaws. I personally like Garruk, Primal Hunter but your choice really does make sense.

3x copies of Thalia, Guardian of Thraben might be excessive. You could cut her by 1x and side the other. You'd have another slot to fill with something else, then side her in for control/Delver matches.
How has Kessig Wolf Run worked for you considering your mana base and not being able to fetch it ala Primeval Titan ?
