Sigarda EDH Voltron/Combo (casual multiplayer)

Sigarda, Host of Herons is a very resilient commander and great for a voltron strategy. If you can cast her early and make her indestructible, there are very few cards that can actually deal with her.

The deck includes a variety of cards to make Sigarda indestructible. Some are permanent like Shield of the Oversoul and Avacyn, Angel of Hope, while others offer single use like Selfless Spirit and the Totem Auras. Lifelink and +1/+1 Counters also play an important role in the deck, both as a means to power up Sigarda and as an alternative win condition with Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Triskelion .

Turns 1-4:

Use a mix of artifacts and green land fetch cards to ramp into an early Sigarda. Creatures like Selfless Spirit, Bastion Protector to keep her safe while you tutor for Shield of the Oversoul or one of the Totem Armor auras.

Turns 5-8:

Once Sigarda is indestructible, you can focus on powering her up. Use auras like Ethereal Armor, Rancor and Armadillo Cloak along with +1/+1 counters from Citadel Siege. True Conviction can quickly turn her into a one-hit killing machine.

Late Game:

Use protective enchantments Sterling Grove and/or Privileged Position to prepare for Defence of the Heart. Fetch the Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Triskelion combo and win instantly (or if you already have one creature in play, fetch Grand Abolisher to shut down any response). You also have Spike Feeder that will combine with Heliod to give you infinite life.

Combos:

• Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Triskelion = infinite damage

• Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Spike Feeder = infinite life

• Archangel of Thune + Spike Feeder = infinite life (and +1/+1 counters)

• Archangel of Thune + Triskelion + lifelink* = infinite damage

True Conviction, Ajani Steadfast and Shadowspear can all give lifelink to Triskelion, then either Heliod, Sun-Crowned or Archangel of Thune can provide the counters required for infinite damage.
