Imagine what it would cost if I added shocklands too

You guys keep mentioning the cost of the deck, but $96.18 for a STD deck is not bad if it is functional and wins. The $40 to upgrade to shocklands is worth it as the gates don't do you any more good than the shock lands do and will rotate at the same time as the gates. I would also up into more Scry lands if you do up into the shock lands. Scry is essential with the current meta game. Mana is where I always get dorked as with new decks I am either choking on it or thirsting for it. I agree with the Frontline Medic add as well since you are already looking at multiple combats a turn and who doesn't love indestructibility. +1

Thank you for the ideas guys, unfortunately I am in New Zealand, so cards are very hard to find and very expensive here. the $40 of shocklands is about $100 for me, and to be honest, I can't justify spending that to myself, let alone the missus

For an aggro deck, this could use a curve-lowering. The average CMC is almost 3, and you only have 3 one-drops. Also, you have 63 cards so you need to lower that to 60. I suggest cutting the 3x Viashino Firstblade as they don't do that much for the deck. Or you could cut the Aurelia, the Warleader and something else. Consider Banisher Priest , Soldier of the Pantheon or Precinct Captain .
