Silumgar's Late Game Fun Time

Modern* Budget Control Dragons UB (Dimir)

Kitteninabiscuit

Maybeboard

Based on a deck by Josh Utter-Leyton.

A control deck that utilizes the kill spells of black with the infamous counter spells of blue. The main goal of this deck is to play Silumgar, the Drifting Death in the late game, because you basically just win then. A hexproof flying wall that can kill basically everything your opponent has is hard to get around, especially with your vast amounts of control. Bringing out an Ojutai, Soul of Winter late game is good too. I would play the good Ojutai (Dragonlord Ojutai), but I'm on a budget, so I'm just waiting for it to rotate out of Standard, hoping it'll go down in price. The bad Ojutai is still pretty good though.

The card(s) in the Maybeboard are just cards that I found after the creation of this deck irl that I'm going to add when I can, because it/they're basically straight upgrades of cards in the deck right now.

The deck works really well right now, but I'm always looking for ways to improve this deck, as there aren't many lists out there of something related to this that I could find. Again, I'm on a budget, so try not to post anything above Remand levels of money. Man, I wish I had a job.
