The deck revolves around landing at least one other permanent with a counter alongside thrummingbird. Using the repeated bounces in the deck, have thrumming bird connect each turn to slowly grow the rest of the field. Draw and control the field while maintaining cards in hand for the inevitable wipe or removal. Swords and graft allow thrummingbird to voltron itself and dominate the field alone.

Scavenging Ooze helps game one against graveyard decks and burn and it can grow way bigger than aquastrand spider. Spike feeder can gain insane amounts of life if it can stay around a turn or two with a hardened scales out. Nissa provides chump blockers, graft targets, massive amounts of counters, and isn't hard to ult with all the proliferate. Repeal might draw cards, but I think the multiple modes of simic charm will be more helpful (this one is still up in the air I might change back to repeal as I really like the cantripping part of repeal).
