Thank you for all of the suggestions. I tried to incorporate all of your ideas, as they were all very good, but some of the cards I just don't like. Examples: -While Disdainful Stroke is good for high costing spells, there are still plenty of high damage/low cost spells. -I don't really like shocklands; In my first buy (a Deckbuilder's Toolkit) I actually pulled 2 shocklands, didn't see the point in paying life for a color, and sold them both. I personally think that there are plenty of other dual lands, so I shouldn't have to pay life for a color.
