I like the way you've got this going. As a huge Simic fan, I have one suggestion that has proved most excellent in quite a few games.

Throw in an Infinite Reflection and slap it on a Master Biomancer causing all creatures entering the battlefield after to become Master Biomancer's. The big gain here is that each new creature entering the battlefield gains the counters from the previous Master Biomancer's on the battlefield. Follow? Example:

Step 1: Master Biomancer (2/4) is enchanted with Infinite Reflection.Step 2: Bring in Zameck Guildmage (2/2) who is technically a Master Biomancer now. He gains +2/+2 making him 4/4. Step 3: Now, bring in something like... one of your Elvish Mystics. He now gains the original +2/+2 from the first enchanted Biomancer PLUS the +4/+4 from the Guildmage... Making your 1/1 Mystic a sweet 7/7 for one Forest.

Repeat the process. For every creature that comes in, they will get massive... I played these two cards in a sweet mix with Trostani, Selesnya's Voice . Big creatures, big life gain.

Give it a shot.

It's a nice thought MarlBobbins, But I don't really think there is room for splashing another color...

I might push a couple of Dissolve in the mainboard if you want to go full-on control. Also, Spell Rupture has synergy with your Hydras but I wouldn't run too many, if any, because if all you control is a Sylvan Caryatid , it won't counter anything much!

Could Curse of the Swine find a place in the mainboard? It just seems so good against so much stuff.

+1, this seems strong. Hope you get those Kioras!

Honestly I can't see Nykthos doing too much in this build. Personally I'd drop both and add in a Forest. I'd also then drop the Voyaging Satyr and put in some Elvish Mystics since you can drop them a turn earlier.

Personally I don't think Syncopate needs to be in this deck, this deck is less control and more creature heavy. Out of playing Syncopate or Sylvan Caryatid you'll probably take the Caryatid turn 2.

This is my Simic build if it gives you some ideas.

With Polukranos, World Eater being legendary, I'd make him at most a 3 of in favor of another Kalonian Hydra . Otherwise good deck. I approve

Thank you very much everybody for your comments! They are all very thoughtful!

@Ultimaodin I agree on syncopate being the card that is the shakiest in this build. I'm thinking of switching them for Horizon Chimera s for slowing down aggro with lifegain, and gaining some evasion.

I also understand what you mean about Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx not looking to profitable. But I find it being quite useful when Polukranos, World Eater is out and time has come to make him monstrous. However, I have not tested them enough yet, so they might be gone aswell, and if so i will change the Voyaging Satyr s for Elvish Mystic . But for now they stay =)

@ riddler89 You might be right! I don't think i will get hold of another Kalonian Hydra in time for the tournament, but I'll think about it! (Another reason is also that I like even numbers xD so 4 polukranos and 2 kalonians looks better for me then 3-3. I'm odd... or even I mean??)

So here's my only question: Where's Thasa, God of the sea?

Thassa, God of the Sea is definatly good. However, i dont really see her purpose in this deck? If you want you can explain :)
