This is my first time building a deck from singles rather than cards bought in bulk, and as a fairly green player (lol) it was daunting task.

I love playing green, and once I had researched enough about the different Ravnivcan Guild color pairs I was down with Simic (and Polukranos because of his bloodthirst for twinkies).

This deck is all about ramping tons of mana with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, casting creatures for X with evasion (like Nimbus Swimmer and Mistcutter Hydra), adding/doubling +1/+1 counters on a lot of creatures with Vorel of the Hull Clade, and then swinging for a ton of damage.

I think this creates a board state that by mid-game would be very hard to deal with (along with Polukranos, Twinkie Eater).

Anyway, if anyone has suggestions or criticisms I'd love to hear them!
