A deck with several ways to combo off, based on sacrificing your Persist creatures over and over.
With
Master Biomancer
on the board, all of your creatures come back into play without their -1/-1 counter, so you can deal infinite damage with
Blasting Station
, insta-mill your opponent with
Altar of Dementia
, or overwhelm them with as many tokens as your mana allows with
Spawning Pit
.
On the slightly slower side, you can shuffle counters around one at a time with
Leech Bonder
as long as he's got his
Paradise Mantle
attached, or with
Power Conduit
. If
Heartmender
is out then it'll remove any -1/-1 counters you weren't able to get rid of yourself.
If all else fails, you can keep sacrificing things to
Ashnod's Altar
or
Phyrexian Altar
(because mana burn is no longer a problem we need to consider), using
Leech Bonder
and
Paradise Mantle
to shuffle the +1/+1 counters produced by
Master Biomancer
onto itself, reintroducing all of your persist creatures, and swinging with a board full of beefy bois with 35 +1/+1 counters apiece. Or play
Sage of Hours
and take ten extra turns.
Marwyn, the Nurturer
and
Rishkar, Peema Renegade
are the MVPs of our mana dork contingent in this particular deck, with Rishkar giving a number of our spells psuedo-Convoke, and Marwyn having the potential to pump out frankly stupid amounts of mana.
River Kelpie
will draw you as many cards as you could ever need, though
Scarscale Ritual
can be used in a pinch.
Starved Rusalka
is an alternative sac outlet for matchups where your artifacts get taken offline, and incidentally gets you a whole ton of life while you're shuffling counters, which, why not.
Naturalize
is there for when you run up against graveyard hate.
I'm not too sure about the specific numbers of any given card or what's worth mainboarding/sideboarding, so I'd be grateful for input from more-experienced deckbuilders.
