I'd lose Wurm's Tooth ; pure lifegain in EDH is kinda useless when you start with so much life. Simic Signet 's good fixing and an obvious choice.

Also, Mind Unbound 's more expensive than Psychic Vortex , but has much less of a drawback. Rhystic Study 's also good card draw.

Counterspell >Cancel . Actually, a lot of counterspells are better than Cancel . Plasm Capture ?

If you can pull together the $30 or so for it, Doubling Season 's a nice thing, though it won't let you put counters on opponents.

For your landbase, Terramorphic Expanse , Evolving Wilds , and Mystifying Maze are good utility lands.

Some other good counterspells are Dispel , Negate , and Dissipate .

You realy are too low in land. Without ramp spells, with only 1 mana rock and 1 mana dork.... I wouldn't have less than 39 lands. Usualy peaople use this formula : 40 lands -0.5 for each mana rock. Ramp in form of spells and creature aren't generaly taken into acount but if you use alot, you can count them too.

Grimoire of the Dead could be a possible choice.

You have SO MANY creatures it seems like it could be effective.

also Mind's Eye and Oblivion Stone are great edh artifacts.

I would remove some of the common evolve creatures. Not sure how they could grow in EDH where boardwipes are so common...

You're missing a lot of staples that would work really well in this deck. There's the green ramp staples (Cultivate , Kodama's Reach , Nature's Lore , etc.), Deadeye Navigator (who triggers your evolves), Eternal Witness , etc.

Since you asked for it in suggestion form, Mind Unbound in favor of Psychic Vortex .

...are the major ramp spells in EDH. As far as creatures go, some ones that would fit into your deck:

I think you'll find some of the smaller graft creatures won't stand out in EDH. They'll end up dying too quickly or aren't cost-effective.

First off, there's a few creatures in the deck that I feel are unnecessary. The foremost one is Simic Sky Swallower . Sure he is a huge beater but he doesn't do too much and you won't be able to put counters on him because he has shroud. I would replace him with Forgotten Ancient to make your opponents think twice about playing spells.

Since you are playing green, you'll be able to ramp very easily. With that in mind, I feel as if Mind Unbound would actually be better. Sure this is more expensive than Psychic Vortex but you want to have cards in your hand at all times to be able to counter spells or have instant speed answers to problems on board.

Since you will be drawing a lot of cards from what I can tell, you should play Reliquary Tower , its almost a must in this deck. No maximum hand size? Awesome, I'll go ahead and hold these 15 cards in hand.

Now we come to removal, luckily you have some pretty good options. Cyclonic Rift is amazing. Overloaded it is a blowout. Spin into Myth will deal with pesky indestructible guys. Krosan Grip is a great card in any green EDH deck since it hits both artifacts and enchantments plus split second is very powerful. Take out Burst of Strength for it. Untapping a creature and getting a +1/+1 is ok, but not the best value.

Time for some awesome artifacts. Illusionist's Bracers and Rings of Brighthearth can let you double Vorel of the Hull Clade 's ability or any other creature or artifact with an activated ability. Lightning Greaves will protect your guys and give them haste. A better option would be Swiftfoot Boots since you'll be able to target your guys.

Time for some fun shenanigans. Triskelion would make for some insane board control and by keeping his counters very high, he could help you win games by getting damage through. Magistrate's Scepter would allow you to take infinite turns but that gets boring and isn't fun to play against.

all of these comments are great, but one stands out with great detail and suggestions on cards i wouldn't of thought of, he also told me what to switch out thanks Smith_and_Tonic. i'm going to do everything you said it sounds like a really good addition.

Don't forget that an EDH deck is an expression of yourself as well. You want to build a deck that you enjoy playing and, although people on this site can make suggestions, not every suggestion should always be taken. I'm glad you're taking my advice on the deck but most of the decisions should come from you once you get it up and running and play some games with it.

I enjoy building decks in my spare time and I like helping other people build decks they want to play. EDH is meant to be a fun format, so the main goal is to have lots of fun!

There will always be cards to look at incorporating into your deck. One that you could think of is Draining Whelk . This creature is a counterspell that turns into a huge beater quickly. This is EDH, a format where high cost things are common. Also, Explosive Vegetation would be better than Ranger's Path since you have the option to find 2 forests, 2 islands, or one of each. Farseek is very good because it can find your Breeding Pool and help fix your colors. The more ramp, typically the better. Once you play a few games, you'll see which creatures are really effective and which ones aren't up to snuff so you can pull them out and try other cards in their place.

Master Biomancer gets some kind of ridiculous with Ooze Flux . It also plays nicely with ETB cards.

nice deck. What about Incremental Growth ? Also, I really like Deadeye Navigator for my ETB creatures, but he would also reset your counters on Clockwork Hydra or your graft creatures if they disperse their counters and run low. I think he could work real well with Cytoplast Root-Kin in your deck.

Fable of Wolf and Owl looks like it would work real well with Momir Vig, Simic Visionary . I'd be curious to see your feedback on it works in action and I may consider it for my deck.

Overall, I like Master Biomancer too. I really like him in Standard, but I haven't really seen him shine in EDH yet.

Cool deck! Let me know how it runs.
