Sideboard

Was formerly UG Tron, decided I would try a different take on different, and run GW instead. This is basically an entirely new deck, in hindsight I should have made a new deck instead of just editing my UG list into this, but oh well.

The deck gets its name from the sheer volume of creatures with "Titan" in their names. Primeval Titan is great for either getting the last pieces you need for Tron, or for just grabbing more Tron lands after it's been assembled for an extra boost. This also benefits you by reducing your chance of drawing lands, meaning you'll be drawing action more often.

Sun Titan as a 1-of gets you some value late-game when you have stuff in your graveyard you want back.

Sundering Titan is just rude. Wipes out shock lands and basics like nobody's business. And, since you're only running 4 lands in the entire deck with basic land types, you're not too worried about the effects it has on your own side.

Now, all of these titans are large enough on their own to inflict serious damage, but what's Tron without some stupid-large Eldrazi to cast for next to nothing? Endless One fits so well here. T1 he's a 1/1, T2 he's a 2/2, T3 (assuming you have Tron assembled by then) he can be a 7/7 or bigger! Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre slam in with Annihilator and it's game over.

Now the sideboard gives us some fun options.

Against Affinity you'll want Nature's Claim and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite. What I like about Elesh Norn in particular here, is that she completely hoses Arcbound Ravager. Sure, its Modular still activates, but it's never around long enough to be a more serious threat. The Claim is extra insurance for the early game Ravagers that slip through before Elesh Norn hits the board.

For Burn, grab Thragtusk and Eldrazi Displacer. The amount of times Displacer's ability can be activated in a single turn with Tron assembled is ridiculous, and the lifegain and board presence you'll achieve from abusing Thragtusk's Enter/Leave abilities will be substantial.

Graveyard strategies make Relic of Progenitus an easy choice.

Anyway, let me know what you think of this new build, and don't forget to +1 if you like it!

Decided I wanted to try out a GW list instead of UG. I have deleted previous comments to reset the conversation for this new build. Let me know your thoughts!
