Simply Exalted (Bant Aggro: Exalted Dynamic)

Casual Aggro Exalted GWU (Bant)

This deckbuild is quite a fun deck for casual players such as myself.

Another one of my old decks that I've decided to rehash, but this time I kept the old strategy. Simple and straight-to-the-point, this deck builds up on the Exalted dynamic, but always keeps a few mana open - and this is where one of the key points come along. Once you have your two mana open, if the opponent takes the damage, you can pump your attacker up even more with Phytoburst, Simic Charm, or my personal favorite, the ever-popular Giant Growth. Your opponent will be left with no choice but to take the attack.

SInce this deck is really just simple, it isn't as competetive as many would prefer, although it still is a decent and effective deck.

PREFERRED OPENING HAND: If you have 3 lands, 3 early creatures, and one pump-up spell, you're good. Also, it could be 3 lands, 2 early creatures, 1 counter card, and 1 pumper, you can also take it. Basically, the most important thing to remember when judging whether to mulligan or not is the simple rule of thumb with MTG: If you can cast most of what's in your hand with the mana you drew, then it should be good enough.

STRATEGY (turn-by-turn reference): It's really just as simple as putting down creatures as soon as possible, and leaving 2-3 mana open as soon as your 3rd or 4th turn (depending on your board and your hand) for spells like Simic Charm, Giant Growth, Phytoburst, Mana Leak, and Bant Charm. Once you put down an Invisible Stalker, all should be well. Since this is an Aggro-strategy, by the 5th turn your opponent should at least be down to 5 life. By my experience, that has been a decently common occurrence with this deck, so I've had no reason to doubt the strategy significantly so far.

NOTE: I've also put in Blighted Agent on the sideboard for times when I prefer a much faster kill, although Blighted Agent would almost always eat removals. Also, as this is a casual deck, I usually splash in a few SIlent Arbiters for multiplayer when I'm against my friends, especially those who use Aggro decks too, because it actually makes the game much more fun as well as advantageous for me when my opponents would rather not try to go after me (since the Arbiter pretty much neutralizes those decks that build up fast on creatures).

Also, I have no money for the really good hybrid lands. However, so far I haven't had much problems with the guildgates in terms of their speed (which is really really wierd since they are notoriously slower compared to the other hybrid lands), which is why for now, I'm gonna stick to this manabase list.
