The coup de grace here is Aegis of the Heavens + Fencing Ace + High Alert . The Fencing Ace's weak stats are its strength. Surely there's no reason to block a 1/1, right?

In order to get him through defenses, this deck relies on tapping opposing creatures. Law-Rune Enforcer , Merfolk Trickster and Tempest Caller are all in play. Throw in a Verity Circle or two, and you've got some very decent card draw to build up to a massive Finale of Revelation .
