biopouvoir thank you for your reply. I'm putting together the deck right now so please let me know if you want to theory craft brawl :)

You should also review your gameplan information etc because it seems outdated. It talks about Cloudstone Curio + Reki and neither are currently in the deck for example.
Have you made any progress in your updates for Dominaria?

I updated the combo lines section by bolding the portion in the first paragraph where I explain that I'll go over combo lines that are alternative options even though they're not in the list. Hopefully that makes it more clear why there are other combo lines the deck isn't on.

Noctem Going on the primer " Cavern of Souls - Makes Captain Sisay uncounterable"
I'd recommend Human

I see, there are a few humans being played in the deck. In the newest version of Sisay she's categorized as a Human Soldier. I was also asking about other options that could be worth choosing over human depending on the win condition you're trying to win with. That sort of thing.

From Dominaria it seems Mox Amber will improve the deck a lot.
Just curious, how about Urza's Ruinous Blast though, is it playable in Sisay or maybeboard?
Thanks in advance.

Have you finalized your picks from Dominaria to add into your deck biopouvoir?

Mox Amber for Jitte is more or less finalized, it's just a matter of whether Urza's Ruinous Blast is worth it, which I'm not sure about yet.

Personally I don't feel it is as the meta currently looks, but once Dominaria drops there's some interesting new things which could call for it. I say do the solid upgrade with the Mox and wait and see for the second.
I've been tinkering with brawl quite a bit too :)

Is this current list the exact list you are running now? If so, how impactfull do you find banisher priest as well as fiend hunter. I am having a hard time finding reasons to cut cards for these two creatures.
April 17, 2018 12:13 p.m.
Why the Jitte? I know it's an amazing card, but how often do you find yourself attacking with it?
April 17, 2018 1:23 p.m.
The jitte was used to to proc metalcraft on Mox Opal before Dominaria is released. After that, it'll be replaced with the new Mox.

Sorry i dont get the combo. After i do the paradox line, how will i win on the same turn?
April 27, 2018 7:56 p.m.
MrPox check out the primer bro. In order to win you need to establish the paradox engine... engine? Basically you need 3+ sources of mana that untap with Paradox Engine whenever you cast a spell. The deck has a few ways to do this.
Mana rocks. If you can get any of the artifacts that produce mana on the field, those count. However, some of them are more important than others. Specifically, the ones that are legendary Mox Amber and Mox Opal are the most important because we can fetch them with Sisay.
Mana Dorks. We have lots of dorks and we can also create some using Rishkar, Peema Renegade which we can go get with Sisay if needed.
Feel free to check out the primer by biopouvoir for more info.
Once you can create at least 3 mana whenever you cast a spell and trigger Paradox Engine, you can find your win condition which are listed in the primer. The main one is to use Thousand-Year Elixir and Selvala, Explorer Returned to mill everyone out (while drawing your entire deck). Use Dosan the Falling Leaf to prevent opponents from casting spells on your turn and use Green Sun's Zenith to stop yourself from losing the game due to the mill.
Cheers.

Hi there,
Isn't it possible to just win with 2+ mana with paradox untap trigger? Like lets say you have bloom tender in play (tapped), paradox engine online and can play any spell. When I do the math like below, it should be possible to combo off with even just bloom tender play. Am I missing something or how come 3+ mana are required?
Cast paradox engine, play other spell to untap, make two mana
Fetch mox opal with Sisay and cast it, make another two mana (we are at 4)
Then go fetch jite and caset it (still at 4 mana)
Then go fetch all two cmc legendary creatures like kataki and thalia (now with mox opal online ramps us to 6 mana)
Then go fetch azusa (we are still at 6 mana)
Then go fetch cradle (2nd land for turn), tap for bloom tender, azusa, kataki, thalia, sisay (we are at 11 mana)
Then play any spell from hand
Go get inventor's fair, sac it for 4 mana (we are down to 7 mana) fetch elixir
Play elixir and go fetch selvala (still at 7 mana)
Play selvala and go fetch dosan (still at 7 mana)
Play dosan and combo out

The first thing you do after getting paradox engine is fetch mox opal because you need white mana to do the rest of your line. Are you serious rn? Dark_Danda, you got a 3rd mana because it was required to combo off. lol?

Hehe, you are right. I understood that you need 3+ mana BEFORE trying to go off (exluding mox opal). Anyway the new mox amber looks great in this deck. I will definitely add it in my version.

Hi, i'm interested in playing this deck. how crucial is it to have gaea's cradle? Can the deck win/go off without it?
