Commander / EDH Mono-White

This deck works!

I was hesitant to try mono white as it had languished behind every other color in EDH for some time. In 2013 I decided to make a viable deck in every single color, and it took me to 2020 to build this. I'm happy to report that this deck hangs with all the others, and white has caught up to every other color and then some. It's wild to think mono-white was an also-ran for the first decade of my EDH playing given where we are now. Anyway, tutor decks can be linear (and this is also that...to a point), which i don't love. My dream game of EDH is making a thousand very small decisions correctly and in the right order to squeak out a win. To that end, I relied less on tutoring outside of Lin, and more on just generic draw and control. I started this deck as a den of hate bears, but that really annoyed the table into murdering me first. So, I've replaced MOST of the hate pieces for more oily control cards to squeeze of of trouble while I look to draw into combo piece 1, and can assemble the rest of the combo via some on-strategy rebel. Here's a broad overview of what this deck likes to do:

I'll run everything through Lin Sivvi and tutor accordingly:

Problem creature: tutor Bound in Silence or Crib Swap (note: enchantments target on cast, so if entering the battlefield via Lin Sivvi's ability, they can be attached to hexproof/shroud creatures at will)

Have a full board and mana: tutor for Mirror Entity and swing

Assemble the infinite life combo of Task Force + Outrider en-Kor (or Umbral Mantle or Lightning Greaves) + Condemn/merin, the moaning well

Have Phyrexian Processor? tutor up Children of Korlis make a 39/39 token.

Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista (this one can't be helped by lin sivvi, so we're stuck with Enlightened Tutor or just drawing in).

Updates Add

It's wild to me that I thought that i could slow down my opponents in EDH. Three of them! The original philosophy of this deck (slow down opponents while you acquire resources and tutor combos) remains, but the means to do that have changed. Out are the hate bears that slow down opponents by 1 generic or so (speed bumps that turn the table against us), replaced by hard removal. Let's see if I can better disrupt plans by removing key pieces rather than generally slowing down their overall plan:

Out: Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Glowrider, Thalia, Heretic Cathar, Vryn Wingmare, Samurai of the Pale Curtain

In: Swords to Plowshares, Fairgrounds Warden is back!, Generous Gift, Heliod, Sun-Crowned (walking ballista to follow), Dismantling Wave
