Oh you didn't actually play this deck.

Not as exciting.

Yeah I did.

I played the deck at FNM, and that was one of the sequences of events I ran into.

But Cringe a lot of those cards you mentioned aren't in my version of the deck, so you have played a tweaked version.

My vision is to have Creature removal + Prowess, not any other type of spells + Prowess.

I'm glad that you did well with your version, and it sounds like you had fun playing it, but I'm a little disappointed that I don't know how my version would have gone.

The thing is, the only difference is those 3 spells (Rage, Slip, Expedite). I added those because I felt they were a good combo, but other than that it was a 100% copy.

You have to first pump up your lands/landfall before Crater's Claws becomes effective. I would tend to drop 2x Crater's Claws for 2x Tormenting Voice and further speed up your draw. In similar decks, I prefer Lightning Beserker to Monastery Swiftspear. All in, a solid deck +1

You are incorrect about Crater's Claws. I've been playing that card for years.

It's works perfectly as a finisher to squeeze the last bit of damage through. Usually only need five or six lands at that stage of the game, which I will have.

Alternatively it can take down an early Creature, which again I don't need much land for it to do, or it can hit some loyalty counters off a Planeswalker.

Lightning Berserker I also have a lot of experience with and is a terrible idea for this deck.

People keep getting confused, no matter how many times I say it. This is NOT an aggro deck. Lightning Berserker is great in an aggro build, not in this one.

Try to think of this deck as mid-range. It takes a little bit of set up but usually kills the Opponent by Turn 7 or 8.

It can go even longer than that by just waiting for the board to stabilise.

Sorry if I sound salty but people just aren't listening to how this deck plays. It's also apparent who has actually tried playing it and who hasn't.

This deck looks solid, I know it's been mentioned before but I really think Slip Through Space would be a better option for this deck, hear me out though. Here's what I'd change,-4 Break Through the Line+4 Slip Through Space-4 Jhessian Thief+2 Zada, Hedron Grinder+2 Elusive Spellfist

You still retain the unblockable trick but the combo with Zada can take opponents by surprise, giving ALL of your creatures unblockable and activating prowess, not to mention you get to draw a card for EACH copy of that spell made by Zada. This can swing games hugely into your favor if it doesn't simply end it. You can pump Elusive Spellfist and activate it's +1+0 and unblockable with any spell any turn with or without Zada. So you don't lose any of your core mechanics but utilize combos that make them more effective and harder to deal with. That's just my 2 cents though.

Yeah that's a completely different deck you've suggested, not the one I want to play.

I hate Zada, Hedron Grinder with a passion. IF this happens and IF that happens she is great. Problem is, most of the time they don't.

Jhessian Thief time and time again has let me dig for cards I need.

Cute ideas but not the direction I've gone in.

Saying ideas are cute is a bad thing?

News to me.

It's been said to me loads of times on this site.

People need to start chilling about this deck.

If you've got different ideas for it that's cool. Or cute. Or whatever it is I'm allowed to say.

Share them, by all means.

However, I have already said in my description that I'm not interested in adding certain types of cards to this deck.

If you ignore that and suggest those cards anyway, prepare yourself for a less than impressed response.

Also Cringe why don't you put your version of this deck up on the site?

I tried to find one in your deck folders and couldn't.

That way people can vote for that version or make suggestions for you to try.

You can also give updates like your win at FNM.

Argeaux,
First, I love this deck exactly as-is. But part of the reason folks may be confused about whether it's an aggro deck or a mid-range is you've tagged it as Aggro.

Fair point, clayperce.

I've updated it.

Cringe I think everyone gets one free cycle a day.

If you want some feature tokens I'm gonna throw you a couple.

Use them for any deck you want to.

Happy Birthday.

Just so you know, I may not be a man.

Not a literal man, just figuratively (if I triggered people)

Anyways, my deck is cycling

Using the term "man" to mean everybody can be problematic because it is a masculine pronoun.

It would be like using the word "girl" to refer to everybody. If you're not female it would feel weird.

I'll go and check out your deck.
