UPDATEI have removed the Swarmborn Giant and Genesis hydra in favor of a full set of Hornet Nest.
Mono-Green Token deck with unexpected splashes of extra aggravation. Firstly, the deck can be kind of slow, but if you manage to pull an [Elvish Mystic] every turn, you could potentially have 8 mana by turn 4. I called the deck Skeeter Clutch due to my use of 4 [Hornet Queen] and 4 [Hornet Nest]. Along side 2 [Invasive Species] and 2 [Roaring Primadox], you can guess the potential constant token popping every turn. The deck is slow and will more than likely drop your life to an uncomfortable position, but it doesn't matter. Keeping the 'return to hand' mechanic in mind, I am also running 4 [Reclamation Sage] which effectively gives me a 2G enchantment/artifact killer and a creature in one card.
Another direction Skeeter Clutch can take is taking advantage of my inclusion of 4 [Heroes' Bane] and 1 [Garruk's Packleader]. The last card will keep card draw consistent, especially when you pull one of 3 [Fated Intervention]. Two 3/3 tokens and Scry 2 and a 2 card draw (ala [Garruk's Packleader]) for 2GGG, that's not bad at all. I also included 2 [Tuskguard Captain] to give all the counter creatures Trample, which will help when you start getting the [Heroes' Bane] pumped up with nothing else to put mana into. The last creature I have is 4 [Paragon of Eternal Wilds] to pump tokens and [Hornet Nest] in order to keep it alive when blocking.
Finally, my spells/noncreature cards are the previously mentioned 3 [Fated Intervention], 3 [Restock], 2 [Plummet], 1 [Bow of Nylea] and 1 [Obelisk of Urd]. Obelisk is in to pump insects/tokens, Plummet to control flying until I can pop token cards, Fated Intervention for scry and tokens, the Restock are to pull back anything you need if it gets destroyed. Lastly, the bow is for extra shenanigans. All attacking creatures have death touch is a fine tool of frustration and sputtering rage.
Suggestions highly welcome and encouraged. I have only played close friends, but it fairs well more often than not. I haven't come up with a sideboard because I've not needed one yet.
Thanks for checking it out!
