How to play magic cards and compleatly alienate people.

This swamp fueled mono black setup is designed to push 10 poison counters through. It won't hold up in multiplayer games, but 1v1 it shines. Kills on or before turn 6 became a bit of a running joke in my playgroup, but turn 2 KO's really get my ichor flowing. Won't make any new friends with this collection of cards, but I assure you it feels good to pilot and it feels fucking great to pilot well.

Primer

• Tuned for speed and minimal interactions with opp. Get a creature on the board, make it unblockable and pump it up. Simple.
• Life total is a valuable resource that should be used as quickly as possible.

• Lots of new, cheap proliferate triggers help sneak those last points through, and of course Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon is your parachute in the command zone.

• Tutor for Unspeakable Symbol or Hatred and end it all on the damage step.

• Phyresis Outbreak is an absolute superstar.

When I was young the poison mechanic was my favourite because of how broken it was and how angry it made opponents... When I came back to the game as an adult the mechanic had just been refreshed as "infect" and I fell in love all over again... In 2023 we got "toxic" and I continue to foil out my pet project deck...
