Thanks Kala. Varolz is a beast. Initially included for advantage off an overgrown Skullbriar, he's seen value off of other creatures. An early build of this deck had leaned more heavily on the Scavenge mechanic, but it was very clunky and unreliable. Of those cards, only Varolz remains, and he's far too good at what he does.

I'm kind of new to commander, but would Solidarity of Heroes be good? It can permantly give a boost to your commander.

Be careful with this commander. A card like Torture and other cards like that mean your commander is useless

Absolutely Minelia5, that's why it's included in this deck. It's a cheap way to double up Skullbriar, and since there are ways of putting counters on any other creatures in the deck it can be a force multiplier.
Well Bobby654, that's always a concern. Cards like Torture, Black Sun's Zenith, etc. can certainly put a damper on if they're able to overcome the amount of +1/+1 counters on him. There are ways to deal with that in the deck though. If it dies to -1/-1 counters, Lord of the Undead lets me send him to the graveyard, and then return him from grave to hand, shedding all counters as part of Skullbriar's stipulations about where counters stay on him. So far, it hasn't been an issue though people have tried to minus him out of the game. Unspeakable Symbol allows them to commit their mana down for something like Black Sun's Zenith at which point responding by paying 3 life to put just that 1 extra counter on him is great (Boon Satyr works in a similar fashion).
While Skullbriar does die to removal, and is weaker than other commanders at being removed by -1/-1 counters, he's overall too powerful to not run, and I normally don't run into too many people running -1/-1 counter removal.

NateJH you are absolutely right, it slipped my mind when I uploaded the deck. He got reverted back to Terastodon.

Minelia5 It's all good. Always looking for suggestions. At the moment there are several cards that let me double counters (Solidarity of Heroes, Corpsejack Menace, Soul's Might, etc.) quite effectively. The 1.0 version of this deck did pack Doubling Season and Primal Vigor, but at the time I had the mana to drop it them I was either re-casting Skullbriar or otherwise had better plays. Since I also cut most of the zombie token production out to focus on Skullbriar, they were easy cuts to make.

Opal Palace and Hardened Scales would give you some extra counters.
Aspect of Mongoose would give a bit more protection to your boss.
Instead of all the +1/+1 to zombie creatures how do you think a few more unblockable would work? Dauthi Embrace and Dauthi Trapper come to mind.

Something I've found wildly effective for Skullbriar is trample or similar effects. Rancor works wonders, but also try Primal Rage. Thunderfoot Baloth is very strong.
Things that buff base p/t are also get crazy with Skullbriar. In my skullbriar deck, I run Tower Above, Crowned Ceratok, Creeperhulk, Siege Behemoth (crazy card), Revenge of the Hunted, Gigantiform, Vow of Wildness, Sylvan Might, and Vitality Charm.
All of these cards just to give Skullbriar some kind of trample. I also reccomend Shape of the Wiitigo

Thanks for your suggestions ghastly18! Rancor is awesome as he sees removal fairly often. Primal Rage could go in for Endless Ranks of Dead as I've reduced my zombies in deck. I like Thunderfoot Baloth but he's pushing the outside of the curve for this deck. I feel like if I went with him, I could just drop the 1 extra mana and put Akroma's Memorial in deck and get more value. I've leaned more away from cards that buff/modify base P/T in favor of a more counter-oriented strategy. Tower Above is good for removal against all but hexproof critters. I do like Crowned Ceratok, might find room for them. Not a fan of Creeperhulk, usually by the time I have 5 mana available, Skullbriar is bigger than 5/5. I had considered Revenge of the Hunted in early builds but opted for Increasing Savagery for more counter love. Don't really like Gigantiform for the same reason as Creeperhulk. Vow of Wildness is nice, could maybe swap with Boar Umbra at the same mana cost, though I like totem armor protection against removal. I've tried to stay away from momentary buffs like Sylvan Might and Vitality Charm since Skullbriar gets more value from permanent counters. While they do provide trample, I haven't seemed to have a problem with pushing damage through too much. Definitely worth a look. Now, Shape of the Wiitigo I do like, has a nice synergy with Hardened Scales and the aggressive style of this deck.

I'm glad my suggestions could be of help.
I realize that the p/t buffs are not as good as straight +1/+1 counters, they are still very good; in fact they're synergistic with the counters, especially paired with trample (Creeperhulk and Gigantiform) because the counters add more p/t on top of the base toughness.
So if I have Skullbriar with 6 +1/+1 counters, and I cast Gigantiforn, he will be a 14/14 with trample, which will then either become a 15/15 or win you the game with commander damage. I see that you're running more of a lower manacost deck, so if you still wanna stay away from that it's understandable, but I wanted to share that point.

Aspect of Mongoose returns to your hand like Rancor does (even though it is more shroud than hexproof).
Sideboard a Savage Summoning if your meta has a bunch of counterspells?
