Yes. Hence the "one of my first decks" part of the description.

Tell me what you would like this deck to do, and I'll give suggestions and advice off of that.

I said it in the description, Dorotheus:

  1. Early game fast hits with flying aggro.
  2. Mid-game enchantments and buffs, along with a defensive barrier.
  3. Constant hitting every turn in late/end game to finish off the opponent's life total.

if possible, because it is modern and considering the amount of enchants you have (ie win turn 4) id splash in Arcanum Wings so you can sneak in Celestial Mantle & Followed Footsteps much sooner, along with possible Dreamcatcher + Lantern Spirit + Tallowisp

Brave the Sands works well with defenders, because you can block two creatures with them and gives your flying attackers actually an advantage, so why take it out? Not sure about Heart of Light, works with the defenders, but do you really need it? .. you could play Pacifism or something similar which makes more sense to me. Heart makes your deck so defensive. Followed Footsteps out and another Angel of Jubilation in I think.Steel of the Godhead should be in 4 times. You don't really need Holy Strength if you play with more multicolored creatures like Lyev Skyknight, Ascended Lawmage, Aven Mimeomancer, Jelenn Sphinx or Judge's Familiar (pretty cool).

Maybe take Courier Hawk out and if you like sideboarding then out Magus of the Moat in the sideboard against decks with flying. otherwise I would take two. Mentor of the Meek too into the sideboard, not sure if he's important. Why is Seraph of Dawn in the deck? And maybe Talon Trooper isnt the best multicolored choice, but not bad either.

Ghostly Prison or Windborn Muse is the question? First the player must pay for every creature he/she controls

Brave the Sands I had swapped out for two more Favorable Winds, but you're right, this would still be useful - especially with Wall of Denial. I didn't even think of Pacifism, to be honest; makes a lot more sense than Heart of Light. A second Angel isn't a bad idea either. Galepowder can be swapped out for Lawmage without issue. The Familiar works in place of Suntail Hawk. Seraph is probably going to be swapped out for a second Muse or a Ghostly Prison, depending on what I can get hold of.

Mentor of the Meek isn't important, exactly, but a lot of creatures in this deck enter play with 2 power or less so he gives extra card draw fairly often. If you have ideas for what I could use in their place I'm open.

Mhm You are right with the Mentor of the Meek. I would really suggest taking Judge's Familiar in the deck since you can counter bad spells if you are doing it wisely.

Another idea: how about having Archon of Redemption 2x in deck and taking out Seraph of Dawn?Oh by the way Wall of Denial has shroud so it can't be enchanted by your own Enchantments too = Heart of Light doesn't work on it.Another very nice choice woukd be Pride of the CloudsYou might also consider Sky Spirit or Silkbind Faerie for your Talon Trooper.

http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/sky-lords-looking-for-advice-copy/ an idea how i would think this rocks, but this one is a bit expensive

Medomai the Ageless might be a bit of an overkill. But the combo is like: Steel of the Godhead for unblockable and lifelink; Archon of Redemption for more lifeyou get and Archangel of Thune profites from these two and makes your creatures badasses.Celestial Mantle works for that too of course, but maybe change it for a nice instant like Azorius Charm or Render Silent

Yeah, Medomai's definitely overkill. This deck's built for modern but it does need to be casual friendly as well; I'll put him in sideboard if I can get my hands on him. Archangel's a bit pricey, I'll probably stick with Serra for now.

Pride of the Clouds is absolutely brilliant, I can't believe I didn't think of him before. Same with Warden of Evos, he's a perfect replacement for the Mentor.

Thanks for putting that copy deck together, it definitely paints a clear picture of one of the ways this deck can go. We'll see how closely my end build resembles it.

My pleasure :) The Archangel is so expensive.. I didn't see, sorry. Another idea would be Angel of Serenity, the effect is brilliant x) your enemy thinks he has 3 great creatures... but nope. Enjoy your deck, have fun and don't play with Render Silent when you want people to like you x)

Seems like your flyers are to expensive to be aggro but more mid-rangy to me. One of the best flyers in my opinion is Squadron Hawk. It thins out your deck and grabs you more dudes. Also you could run a sword or two and make it cawblade. Also Thoughtweft Gambit is pretty bad, to expensive. Not to mention you won't have trouble getting creatures through anyway seeing that they all have evasion. I'd try Path to Exile instead. Great spot removal. Also some counterspells would help keep your things alive. Remand and Mana Leaks are always good choices.
