nothing prevents you to play it on turn 5-6 right before you attack, that way you are guaranteed to make at least one successful attack even if they destroy it afterwards, but that's just me :P If you playtested, you know better than me

I believe you have to be political with it, it's easier to play and be looked over if there's someone else already drawing hate. It's all about the waiting game, in my experience

Xadroy: It's not so much that I became a target, it's that I would inevitably die by my next turn. Turns out, people don't like their hands revealed

Long term, one of the best things you can get to help is Vendilion Clique. All you needto start the chain is like a Gitaxian Probe and then tutor for Clique, then use that to get Brago and profit :P. But I get that Clique is like $70 (unless you want hte promo, which is only $200).
On a cheaper note, have you considered Angel of Finality? You are building a toolbox deck after all.

enpc: Vendilion Clique would be an awesome addition, it's just out of my price range haha. Angel of Finality is a great idea and would be in the deck, but there just aren't any graveyard shenanigans in my local meta

Archetype of Imagination comes to mind. not only will the majority of creatures not be able to block yours anymore but also the effects of the Pride of the Clouds and Radiant, Archangel be quite significant.

The otehr thing you could run is Gilded Drake. Lots of fun when your opponent is playing big creatures.
On the side of counterspells, have you considered running Memory Lapse/Remand? lets you counter their thing, then give you extra info for your general.

enpc Gilded Drake sounds like a good fit! What would you suggest swapping for it? And I've considered both Remand and Memory Lapse, I've just found that the tempo loss for the opponent doesn't really change anything. They'll just recast it.

FUUUUUUUUUUUCK I've been misreading Yosei, the Morning Star this entire time. He's probably going to get cut
February 16, 2015 7:09 p.m.
Yeah, he's good in a reanimator deck but outside of that, not super great. Still good, but not great. And that sounds like a good swap then :P
Also, Hvae you considered Sword of Feast and Famine? gives your general pro-removal colours and untaps your lands, basically giving you return on the work that you do to see your opponent's hand. Then you have mana to cast the thin gyou tutor for/leave countermagic open. And the discard is nice too.

enpc That's actually.... pretty good. Any suggestions on a swap?

I'd ditch either Trinket Mage or Logic Knot. But probably Trinket Mage, I just don't feel like he adds enough value.

enpc You're not the only one that has said that, but playing him allows access to different ramping options that U/W doesn't have access to. I absolutely love the little dude
February 16, 2015 7:43 p.m.
Actually, I think that may have been me too :P
My biggest beef with Trinket Mage is that he doesn't actually ramp. He's a 4 mana card (well, three if you fetch the artifact lands). Because he doesn't put them into play, you're expending resources finding and then playing the thing. I get that Fabricate is the same but the number of things it can get is much higher.
Its a pain when you don't have access to ramp colours, I run a Melek, Izzet Paragon deck so I know dem feels. But here's the thing, if you replaced Trinket Mage with another 3 (or even 2) cost rock, wouldn't you be getting more value then? Especially since you're not running Sensei's Divining Top.
Things like Azorius Keyrune or Talisman of Progress could be good. And then if you want the artifact tutor, Tezzeret the Seeker gives you both tutor and ramp.
At the end of the day, its up to you though. I get that people like running certain cards in their deck, despite being not optimal (see any of my green decks and Yisan, the Wanderer Bard :P).

Grand Arbiter Augustin IV seems like a pretty good choice here. Serra Avenger is quite solid flyer for a 2-drop. Avacyn, Angel of Hope is a standard EDH white card but quite expensive. Also Aven Mindcensor is really good for stopping tutors with flash effect.
I'd advise removing Judge's Familiar though. Unless this is an opening hand card, it's not particularly good in EDH in my opinion.

since everything you have has flying, Stormtide Leviathan is really good with Archetype of Imagination, and Telepathy is good with your commander.

Stormtide Leviathan, Archetype of Imagination and Telepathy were all in a previous version of the deck. The leviathan, while effective, is just too expensive for what it does. Telepathy just paints and immediate "Kill me now" target onto my back. The Archetype falls in the same scenario. Thanks for the suggestions!

Definitely needs Drogskol Reaver! I run Isperia in my Grand Arbiter Augustin IV EDH deck and Drogskol is always the first creature I search for. Great board presence and utility.

Drogskol Reaver is in that awkward spot of being just over the curve to play reliably, but is still really good. He's stuck forever in the maybeboard.

Dovescape and Swans of Bryn Argoll for fliers, I like the idea of Guile here

That's actually a really solid card! I can't believe that I missed it. It will definitely find a slot!
