Slaughter of The Soul

Modern* Aggro RBW (Mardu)

Uuluwi

Hello! i'm new around here, but i've been playing MTG since Onslaught,Scourge and such other nice oldies. I've wanted to come back but never really saw any good cards that dragged me back to play the game again, but now after seeing the return of Ravnica cards(yes,i played the old ravnica, and loved it...i always loved multicolored cards) i decided to get back into it.

Now this deck i have a preview of here is what i'm planning to play mainly against friends for fun and nostalgia, but i'll perhaps give it a go in a tournament or two.

In short it's supposed to be based around Aggro with a primal watch for Rakdos,Lord of Riots himself trampling his way to victory, all the while lowering the cost of the Firemane Avenger's and Spark Trooper's mana cost to make them cheaper and Immortal Servitude to bring back all the "lowbies" back so i can finish my opponent off.

I threw in some Lightning Helixes to deal with unwanting defenders,to help me back up on life or just to finish off my enemy alongside two Dreadbore's,which i suppose is sufficient since it's primarily in here against the plainswalkers. Two Terminate's are against tougher creatures,as are Swords to Plowshares.

The Slaughter Games are just against pesky Nevermore's and other really annoying cards plus Duress/Rakdos's Return is here to give me some hand control to cover "all the ground".

Now,i have no clue which cards are viable for modern,do the Duel decks count as a set or not(example-i thought the Elspeth vs Tezzeret for the Swords to Plowshares) and i have never played seriously in any tournaments, just locally which is hosted by a friend of mine which whom i used to collect cards and play with.

Any feedback and help improving the Deck would be greatly appreciated.

NOTE:I was thinking of buying 4x Crypt Ghast to help with some mana perhaps 4x Stromkirk Noble for more low mana damagers plus he can get big.

and i still have to buy the Helixes, the Shock Lands,Swords to Plowshares,Terminate and Duress, but the last two are pretty cheap. Still,i want to be sure i can play all the cards before i buy them.

Also i still haven't yet thought about the Sideboard and Maybeboard yet and in front i'm sorry for the gigantic wall of text.
