This deck is all about sabotaging your opponent while building yourself up. It delays agro decks with Typhoid Rats, Duress, and Despise. While the game progresses as you continue to stall cards like Tasigur, the Golden Fand and Hedonist's Trove will give you card advantage and access to the growing graveyards.

One of the most fun combos with this deck is after playing a turn Palace Familiar wait for you opponent to cast a creature and counter it with Silumgar Sorcerer which A. counters their spell B.Gives you a better flying creature and C. gives you your card back since Palace Familiar died.

When playing against another control deck countering a spell with Silumgar's Scorn, then revealing a dragon will often make them hold their counter spells until you play the dragon.
