Equip Slicer with Equipment like Sword of the Animist & Banshee's Blade, then watch as things quickly go out of control. Don't forget about double strike for the purpose of damage-based triggers!

There's usually someone without a blocker on turn 3, so you can probably get away with casting your commander for the More Than Meets the Eye cost, then attacking someone to transform him into his double-striking side.

Slicer is an Artifact, so Mishra's Workshop works for him, along with all of your Equipment.

Homeward Path lets you save Slicer from being forced into a bad attack by a controlling opponent. (Although the first strike portion of double strike plus Slicer's decent base toughness of 4 means he'll usually be fine in combat.) When you're down to 1v1, Path lets you donate Slicer and then get him back right away, which avoids chosing between transforming him into his non-double striking side or letting your last opponent attack you with him.

Jeska, Thrice Reborn's damage buff lasts until your next turn, so each Slicer-combat benefits.

In addition to e.g. Sol Ring, Urza's Saga can fetch some cool Equipment like Prying Blade. Click on the colorless mana value 1 column to highlight them.

Underworld Breach is just there for value, no shenanigans intended.

Sword of Hearth and Home is mainly there for the land fetch, but don't miss out on flickering Dockside Extortionist twice!

Blazing Sunsteel + Brash Taunter is a backup option.

AFAIK casting Slicer with More Than Meets the Eye means he'll be a noncreature spell on the stack.
