Artifact (2)

My best attempt to help out my son that wants to run Slivers. I would say its a challenge as getting all colors doesn't seem realisticly fast enough in Standard so I focused on three factors to give Slivers a chance in this format:

1) Get the Slivers you need in hand, the cheapest way was Signal the Clans and a little scry from lands. With Manaweft Sliver I could cast Signal the Clans at the end of my opponents turn using Slivers for the mana saving it to cast more Slivers or other spells on my turn. Rather than pack all the different Slivers into a deck I decided to focus on key Slivers for offense and defense. The key Slivers I want most are Bonescythe Sliver for offense and Manaweft Sliver for ramp. If I don't believe this deck can win without one of the two in play. I also opted for Ogre Battledriver over the haste Sliver as it turns the 1/1 Slivers into late game power weapons as well as haste for one extra mana.

If your wondering why I didn't drop Blue for the flying Sliver I just felt the fourth color was to much to ask for out of the deck and the Striking Sliver for the 1 slot gives me more defensive options with first strike when he pairs with the other Slivers.

2) Creature based offense needs a way to get through your opponents creatures so I chose Aurelia's Fury I bomb spell that also runs great against any instants my opponent was saving for combat.

3) Get them out fast with Manaweft Sliver so you can save the mana to keep your Slivers alive from spot removal with Boros Charm
