Sliver Overlord - 5 Color Hootenanny

Hello TappedOut community members! This is my 5 color Sliver Overlord toolbox deck. Ramp to Overlord and tutor for whatever is needed. I intend to edit and add to this description because Sliver Overlord is one of my first commander decks I've had since 2011 that I keep tuning and tweaking.

Finding Your Colors -

I'm using a majority of the green ramp spells as a foundation to get my 5 colors open. With the typical artifact ramp and the four green signets its easy to get the engine going with Sliver Overlord. Both the Birds of Slivers "Gemhide Sliver" and or "Manaweft Sliver" are the first things I get, either to unlock the color pie or to ramp and explode.

Tool Box -

Once I've survived the first round of turns, I just try to get any of Haste slivers into play. Cloudshredder, Heart, Blur, and Reflex Sliver all provide my guys with haste and they love those other 2 guys we were talking about previously. I know it seems like 4 is a little much, however they will always receive some targeted removal or face board wipes to slow me down. Play what is in your hand and don't rush to summon Overlord to fast because he will easily get the first "Force of Will" or "Path to Exile" equivalent. When its safe to or you have 8 mana summon Ovi (the Great 8, 5 for Overlord + 3 to search once, also Hockey reference) and leave that 3 mana up as long as possible. With "Sliver Overlords" ability to tutor at the end of our opponents end step, after seeing 3 opponents turns, we can just search for an answer.

End the game -

Okay everybody hates me cause I'm playing Slivers. Well I'm not playing "Cyclonic Rift" but I'll play "Armageddon", "Catastrophe", and "Global Ruin" instead. I like these 3 because When I have my sliver board set up I can just win the turn after I destroy the lands usually. I really don't see much of a difference with this and Cyclonic Rift and winning the next turn. "All is Dust" and "Ghostflame Sliver" is a good board wipe that is hard to recover from. "Tooth and Nail" and "Patriarch's Bidding" are also the big late game plays. I don't really need a win condition because its Slivers they win by themselves.
