Slivers are back in Standard! Albeit the design of the new Slivers is a big surprise, I have to say I really like them. It shows that Slivers can be very tricksy and false.

I'm trying to make this deck mostly able to out-aggro most decks. I chose to use Thorncaster Sliver as a more expensive and powerful Hellrider since it also gets the pumps from the other slivers.

Clan Defiance is in for pushing for game in the late game. I also have the chance that I can swing with Sentinel Sliver and Manaweft Sliver then go to Main Phase 2 and tap all my slivers for mana to use the burn spell.

Rootborn Defenses is in to avoid most destruction-based boardwipes (Screw you, Terminus) and if I just happened to have played Hive Stirrings the turn before, I will be able to add more slivers to the armada.

Once I get my hands on the cards, I'm gonna be replacing Searing Spear and Door of Destinies with Legion's Initiative and Aurelia's Fury respectively. Door of Destinies will probably end up becoming a side-board card instead of being removed entirely unless it doesn't work well enough.
