We are about to visit Dominaria in the spring and I fully expect there to be some decent Slivers in the set, as it is the home world of the tribe. Well, not really, they got there in the rathi overlay and given that Rath was an artificial plane they most likely did not originate there either. Nevermind...

With this deck you take control over the powerful Sliver Hive, a tribe that gathers lovers and haters alike. Synergy is everything and, in order to win, you have to assemble some key pieces. This deck does not include a lot of ramp but makes up for it with an elaborate mana base. Green is the main concern in the early turns of the game as it paves the way for all the other colors to shine later.

The best slivers for the early turns are Gemhide Sliver and Manaweft Sliver as they not only ramp you but also do an excellent job at fixing colors. Dormant Sliver refills your hand when empty and once you get your general out and have enough mana - obviously cards like Mirrari's Wake are insane for this - you can use your toolboxy creature base as answers for opposing threads. Want to cast Slivers at instant speed? Quick Sliver does the trick! Surprise boardwipe? Sliver Hivelord has got you covered! One of your precious tentacle creatures is catching a Path to Exile? Crystalline Sliver saves them! Your Crystalline Sliver is to be countered? Don't worry, thats what Cavern of Souls and Root Sliver are there for.Once you assembled critical mass of Slivers you want to ensure that they can successfully connect with your opponent. Use Galerider Sliver and Winged Sliver or even Shifting Sliver, or get rid of some blockers with the expansive removal package - Wrath of God gets some additional sweetness once all of your stuff is indestructible. You may also use Brood Sliver or Synapse Sliver to get some value out of beating your opponent in the face. At some point you will be swimming in cardadvantage and creatures. If you want to take this deck to the "potentially broken" level you can add Paradox Engine which makes you able to get all of your creatures out in a single Turn. I dont think any opponent is going to be prepared for that...

Tell me what you think about this deck! It for sure puts a huge target on your face and if your playgroup is not prepared or does not know what you are capable of, they will most likely suffer a quick loss.

Have a card that you think is better than one in the deck? Please write a comment, I want to keep refining this deck and am happy for every suggestion.
