I understand how the Bow works. I just don't understand why it needs space in my deck. Thorncaster Sliver is a win-more card unless I have the bow, but what are the chances of that? I'll probably run 1/2 Boros Charm MB (take out a Lay of the Land ) and the rest SB against control.

What you need for mana fixing is Chromatic Lantern .
Run 4 of those and your problems are gone. :)
And I highly suggest you find a way to include the ONE MANA ALL SLIVERS GET FLY dude.
Really, all slivers get fly?!? How is that fair? Standard nowdays is full of removals, and table wipes, and good chump blockers to stop aggro. You REALLY need some evasion.

Battle Sliver
seems overcosted for its effect, at least in my experience playing against Sliver decks. I would rather have 2 more Sentinel Sliver
and 1 more Megantic Sliver
for a more aggressive start that can have a more consistently backbreaking late game.
The Chromatic Lantern suggestions are fine, but not necessary; a single Manaweft Sliver gives you more than enough to help in that area. What I think is more necessary for mana fixing is a few guildgates of your colors. They're cheap and since you only have one 1-drop, you can almost always play a gate on turn 1 with no setback.

@Jimhawk: Everyone's a skeptic about Battle Sliver , but it's always proven it's worts whenever I play it. In an aggro deck, everything over 4 mana should WIN YOU THE GAME when it is dropped. Battle Sliver does just that. With your suggestion of Sentinel Sliver s getting added (I'm purposely ignoring your suggestion of Megantic Sliver for the moment), it just makes my deck a normal aggro deck. Slivers are not goblins or bears. They are a tribe of their own, and have a playing style of their own. I've been thinking about 2 Battle Sliver and 3 Megantic Sliver though. What do you think about it? For your guildgate suggestion, I was shying away from ETB tapped lands, but you're right, I only do have one one-drop.
@Seten: Thank You!!

I dont think the Lay of the Land is necessary, along with Sylvan Caryatid and Prophetic Prism . Manaweft Sliver and basics should be enough. I would swap those out for 4 mainboard Boros Charm

@InconspicuousPotato: I think I might swap out at least the Lay of the Land for a Boros Charm . Prophetic Prism cycles and lets me fix, and Sylvan Caryatid is a two-drop body.
@colin13: I wish. But I opened Mutavault during Sealed and don't have much to trade for at $20. Also, I won't buy it online, because it's too expensive.

With 4 Manaweft Sliver and 4 Chromatic Lantern you have 8 perfect mana fixers at your disposal.
Trinkets and other methods become very much irrelevant. Guildgates are in only to assure you wont cry if they destroy your things.
You will buy one of those 8 in your starting hand, or mulligan for it with no fear. That way, you can also expand your Sliver colors, including blue or black.

@jsansoldo: I'm only going to run Naya for consistancy and price.
Chromatic Lantern is something that some people have said yes to and some people have said no to. I'm still thinking about it.

I would -prophetic prisms and -lay of the land and mainboard 3x boros charm. Boros charms are always handy in pretty much any matchup.

@sadiuh: Prophetic Prism is very good, so not yet; but 1 Lay of the Land out. 1 Boros Charm in.

In your description, you say that you can get a turn four Megantic Sliver
. But what if I told you you could get him out on turn 3?
T1: Mountain
, Striking Sliver
T2: Forest
, Manaweft Sliver
, tap Striking Sliver
to cast another Striking Sliver
T3: Plains
, tap all three lands and all three slivers for Megantic Sliver
Just thought you should know XD

@cschiller: As you can see, Boros Charm was the most recent addition to the deck, and so I forgot to remove a Boros Charm from the sideboard. Thank you for telling me.

I would run Galerider Sliver x2 and just splash from Manaweft Sliver or Chromatic Lantern . Can give to another angle for the win.
Door of Destinies purely because it's an amazing addition to any tribal deck.

Only just realised that this bad boy, Thorncaster Sliver isn't in this deck. Why?
November 25, 2013 6:07 a.m.
@Swagrid: Door of Destinies is too expensive. In an aggro deck (which I want this to be), anything over 4 mana should win you the game. Door of Destinies is good after a Supreme Verdict , but that's the only place that's good. Thorncaster Sliver is 5 mana, but it also doesn't really win you the game. It's more of a win-more card. Galerider Sliver is ok! but I don't feel that it helps this deck. Against aggro, I win by having bigger creatures that hit faster than my opponent's creatures. Against control, I win by sticking 1 creature that bashes. I'd run Sentinel Sliver before Galerider Sliver , and I'm not running those.

Fair enough, my local group run a lot of board wipes so DoD kind pa helps me. Other than that our decks are very similar.

Precisely. Thorncaster Sliver assigns indirect damage to target creature or player, making it a winning condition card in most cases. What I'm tryining to say about the Bow of Nylea (here we go again...) is that since your creatures would be assigning damage with Thorncaster Sliver 's effect, that means that if you target a creature with that particular damage you would automatically kill that creature because that bow gives your attacking creatures deathtouch (besides all the other awesome effects that it has). In most cases after doing so, your opponent won't be even able to block you. You'll probably run Boros Charm just to protect your creatures from a board-wipe (or spot-removal).
Can you explain how Calling All Standard Players Start! works on my page? I'm a little busy at the moment and can't figure it out...
