SUSTAINABLE SYNERGY: Have a Mutavault with double strike, vigilance, and haste.

I think I've found another turn 4 win with this fantastic deck!

T1- Mountain, tap for Striking Sliver .

T2- Forest, tap both lands for Manaweft Sliver ; Attack for 1 (Opponent 19).

T3- Any land, Tap all land and Manaweft Sliver for 2x Predatory Sliver ; Attack for 3 (Opponent 16).

T4- Any land, Tap all land, Manaweft Sliver and Striking Sliver for Hive Stirrings and Blur Sliver ; Attack for 16 (Opponent 0).

I absolutely love this deck! Thank you for building it for the community!

to give more card draw and a place to put late game mana, Dragon Mantle can be decent in a budget deck.

@SasukeUchiha: But it will clog up any hand, and if I'm in the late game, the game's pretty much won or lost already.

Alright. Without blue it is hard to get good card advantage in budget.

@SasukeUchiha: True. But this deck doesn't really need it (or tries not to).

Thorncaster Sliver is a great bomb, acts like super charged Hellrider .

I would really consider replacing Prophetic Prism with Chromatic Lantern becuase the latter REALLY helps you fix better.

Matsi883 says... #10

Yeah, but Prophetic Prism draws you a card. Plus, I don't need the fixing.

y no Selesnya Charm ? it's great removal for big creatures (and god's when they become creatures), and it can throw trample on anything.

March 14, 2014 3:25 p.m.

Gruul War Chant might be a good card to consider in place of some of the other cost heavy alternatives such as Battle Sliver . Against decks that are running a large amount of creature removal it acts as a threat that ignores Dreadbore , Hero's Downfall ect.

Selesnya Charm is a sideboard consideration, but no to Gruul War Chant . In this deck, it's a win-more card.

Could you post some playtesting results?

March 22, 2014 8:54 p.m.

So M15 just came out and would you consider putting in Sliver Hive or Toxin Sliver ? Because everyone already hates slivers, why not get them out faster, and then first strike/double strike + deathtouch on the chump blockers if Predatory Sliver , Battle Sliver or Megantic Sliver aren't out to buff them

Are you going to change this deck at all now that the M15 sliver cards are out? Like Sliver Hive?

What about swapping one or two Striking Slivers for a Sidewinder Sliver? That could lessen the number of cases in which you get two slivers of the same kind. Also, what is your opinion on Heart Sliver, it shouldn't be a problem if this deck is casual and it doesn't cost much. The only problem could be that you make your mana curve heavier on 2 mana while leaving 3 mana drops open..

This used to be a Standard deck, which has since been retired. I'm not interested in modifying it to any other format.

is there a substitute for "mutavault", since it is very expensive?
