This deck is all about slowing your opponent down while you set yourself up to get a bomb onto the field, whether it is Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Iona, Shield of Emeria, or Omniscience There is a pretty even mix of counters, removals, and enchantments in order to keep your opponent at bay while you do this.

Oloro, Ageless Ascetic uses his lifegain effect with a few different creature cards in this deck, like Rhox Faithmender , making you gain 4 life each turn, Drogskol Reaver , and Blood Baron of Vizkopa

A few notable combos:

Blood Baron of Vizkopa + Sorin Markov are a way to get a quick win, whether Blood Baron has haste, or you make it a two turn ordeal.

Rhox Faithmender and/or Drogskol Reaver + Obzedat, Ghost Council , Dromar's Charm , Sphinx's Revelation , Absorb create a lot of different quick lifegain combos to put either put yourself ahead in life by a lot, or keep your hand full throughout the game.

What I wanted to do with this deck is to create an effective control deck, without sacrificing the presence of raw power, and considering most of the creatures have abilities that contribute to the control theme, I think it does a pretty good job.
