Really like the idea of Strionic Resonator in a Maze's End deck. Can't think of anything off the top of my head. +1!

What is the purpose of resonator? The only triggered ability I see here is the ETB on gatecreepers, gatekeepers and healers and while they're nice enough, do they really merit a full 3 slots of the main board?(Maze's end is an activated ability, not a triggered one)

That is the purpose. It adds to the stall tactic by gaining more life and collecting more guildgates. It does not trigger the Maze's End . Do you have suggestions for other cards in that slot or better ways to get guildgates out of the library and onto the board?

Well, I like the lateral thinking here.. Maze decks have problems early game to stabilize on the steady stream of fogs, so bolstering the defenses with some defensive creatures is certainly not a bad idea. Resonator can help you gain a few life, but at the investment of 5-6 mana total. Once you're that high in mana, you'll probably want to be drawing cards off Urban Evolution and similar while keeping mana open to fog every turn..

I saw a maze deck running AEtherize as a mini Cyclonic Rift . The stall potential is very high with this card as your opponent is likely to want to attack all-out each turn until you're out of fogs. Another deck ran Treasured Find and Steam Augury , as well as a few Crackling Perimeter MB just to give a second win condition. The Treasured Find was very useful in retrieving more fogs or the win conditions that got discarded at 4 to 1 from Steam Augury . (let me keep these 4 cards instead of a Maze's End ? cool, I'll retrieve the maze too, thank you). If you want your gates out faster you could also consider Into the Wilds

Also, with more draw you can probably live with fewer Maze's End .. you only want to draw 1 in a game

Great suggestions! I'm going to play test some different combinations and see what I come up with. Thank you.

Ran AEtherize tonight and it definitely adds to the deck, big time! Almost ready for FNM!

I run a nice maze aswell. Got bored of pissing people off with turbofog. So I made a maze deck with more board wipes/control. I think my sideboard will help out with fixing your side board. You can go less creatures because your main goal is to get the gates and not deal damage. Side board spell heart and crackling perimeter only when you are playing control really. But +1 for rocking the maze! Check my maze out! Welcome to my fogging maze!

For your sideboard, I'd -1 Negate and +1 Pithing Needle . I would also find a way to include Ratchet Bomb in it to deal with tokens (like mono blue devotion) and small but hasty threats ( Fanatic of Mogis )

I think you need more Negate , or at least some Dissolve .

One of the biggest problem cards you'll come across is Skullcrack , and I suggest that you have an answer to it.

Sphinx's Revelation ? Draw loads of cards and stabilize if you're not getting the removal and land you need.

Yup, that seems good. One or two of?

I'd go for two, you have enough land to have X be quite a lot so casting it twice should be entirely realistic.
