Creature (1)

Enchantment (1)

Abzan EDH build around things that grow +1/+1 counters.

Ashnod's Altar, Hardened Scales, Champion of Lambholt, Rot Shambler, and Juniper Order Ranger along with the fearless commander Ghave, Guru of Spores all break the deck.

_So, why Ghave? _

Ghave is capable of some seriously wonky shenanigans by extending himself or his friends out in the form of 1/1 saproling tokens.

A non-evasion, non-trample creature is coming at you? if you have just two colorless mana available, you can remove a counter from ghave, place a saproling token out, chump block, and before damage just sacrifice it to replace the counter.

There are a few "Lieutenants" in this deck that may assume the commander role and this deck is still quite competitive in the multiplayer setting. Try Anafenza, the Foremost or Daghatar the Adamant if your spore guru needs a break.

This deck is full of fun combos and interactions. Most of the cheap creatures are strong enough to keep you in the mix for a while without coming off as the big threat of the table.
