Creature (5)

Instant (2)

Sorcery (6)

Enchantment (2)

This is a reconstruction from memory, as close as I can get it, of the first deck that I ever won a tournament with. It's a very simple deck that revolves around sacrificing creatures to make other creatures bigger and badder, usually Fallen Angel , and ideally with a Grave Pact on the battlefield. Vhati il-Dal kept anything that made it past me hurt less, Fecundity helped me draw cards. I got lucky and pulled a Gaea's Cradle out of an Urza's Saga tournament pack. Decent, specific spot removal was a lot harder to come by in those days, and my main creature was black, so I didn't have much to use and I had about as much to worry about. I wrote an article about a newer version of this deck for Card Shark years ago.
