Maybeboard

My first and most fun Commander up to this day. Always good for a surprise and really strong finishes out of nowhere.

Strategy

Opening Hand: Not too important, atleast a Forest and a Swamp for Hapatra, maybe a tutor, a combo piece, cheap removal and ramp

The first objective is always to get Hapatra out fast. Even with ramp on your hand you should set your priority on playing Hapatra not later than turn 2. With her on the board, you can try to attack an opponent with no blockers, because it's still early in the game. The snake tokens are the base of your board state. No one wants to attack you if you got tokens with deathtouch (except when your opponent got unblockable creatures).

The second goal is to decide, if you want to win through attacks or a combo. I usually decide this if I already got some important cards for a respective win condition on my hand. Otherwise, there are a lot of tutors in this deck, which will help to find the cards you need. Your snake tokens, removal spells and Hapatra herself will spare you more time to find the key pieces.

Always focus on the removal of weak mana dorks and key creatures to slow your opponents down.
