As a great man once said,

"Gavlan wheel, Gavlan deal!"

What Lonesome Gavlan did NOT say anything about was snakes, or his opinion of them. THAT man was in fact Samuel L. Jackson, and neither of these great men have anything to do with EDH, which makes this one of the worst segues I've ever seen.

So the deck is pretty straightforward. Our commander, Xyris, the Writhing Storm wants us to give our opponents cards, in exchange he gives us Danger Noodles. We accomplish this task in two different ways, we WHEEL and we DEAL.

Wheel

So a very fast and potent method to build up a swarm of slithering snakes is through wheel spells. A single Reforge the Soul will net us a staggering 21 snakes! And wheels like Windfall could potentially spawn even more critters! Teferi's Puzzle Box is particularly devastating as it disrupts our opponent's hands and provides a constant supply of Nope Ropes. Make sure to pitch an Anger into the yard during a wheel to give all the newly formed tokens haste so they can get right into the action.

Deal

For a slower more methodical approach, we can steadily mete out cards to our enemies by giving them additional draws. Howling Mine deals every player 1 additional draw per turn, except that while our opponents are simply up one measly card, we have also gained 3 free tokens in addition to an extra card. Fevered Visions goes one step further by even hurting our opponents for having lots of cards. Now that's what I call a deal!

BUT WAIT...

We have even more ways of punishing our opponents for so greedily accepting these extra cards. Impact Tremors and Purphoros, God of the Forge will make our enemies quickly regret the hand advantage they think they've been given. Or just create the ultimate nightmare fuel by loading your snakes into a catapult with Goblin Bombardment and launching them directly at someone's face!

Beastmaster Ascension, Ohran Frostfang and other effects will make sure that even a single snake slipping through to bite at the opponent's ankles will leave a mark. Burgeoning will help us keep up with any land drops we might have unintentionally fed to our enemies and Alhammarret's Archive will ensure we're the ones who come out on top from any wheeling or dealing happening.

That's basically it, please leave any comments or concerns down below!
