Cavern of Souls , City of Brass , Mana Confluence , Sliver Hive ALL tap for "Green".... Also the possible Reflecting Pool Not to mention Manaweft Sliver Makes all my Creature Tap for green, and any other color... These lands don't only tap for "Green" but also All the colors in Magic.

I feel the need to inform you of a sliver by the name of Virulent Sliver . It is an infectious sliver that will bury your opponents in quite an early game. And it is possible to now win on turn 3 assuming you have three of them (they stack, and the more there are, the more counters there are)... I would put Virulent Sliver in for Venom Sliver . My reasoning is that your slivers get very large, larger than most creatures. If you have to have deathtouch to kill a creature, the chances are that you are facing Griselbrand /Emrakul, the Aeons Torn (Show and Tell /Sneak Attack /Exhume /Cloudpost ) and there is no hope for you... Virulent Sliver kills said opponent before that madness occurs.

I have previously tested with Virulent Sliver , and it does not work how you think it does, no matter what Virulent Sliver Power and toughness are it will ALWAY's deal ONE poison (infect) damage to my opponent, because the card simple states; all slivers have poisonous ONE, meaning that it is an added effect.

Okay then. I have gotten different results with it (mainly because Sliver Overlord was tutoring them all the time). If you do want to use it that is fine. Also, since you wanted to here tricks, here goes nothing. Ghostflame Sliver is a very fun card. All slivers are colorless, YAY FOR COLORLESS. One card in particular that hates colors is All Is Dust . So, why not make your slivers colorless and pseudo Plague Wind . I doubt that it will ever have a place in the deck (requires Sliver Overlord to get combo pieces), but, something fun to think about.

I am aware, i was mentioning All Is Dust because of that. I would not run that combo in this deck, i was just mentioning it because it is something that a lot of people don't expect coming from a 5 color sliver deck.

Root Sliver Is too high costing for its effect and would be to slow for this deck, Cavern of Souls works just fine for me... Thanks for the plus 1

Simply wonderful may I sudgest 1 more galerider because flying alone in many cases can win the game also maybe a few of the sliver that makes your slivers onlie blockable to other slivers he seems like a good way to win early. Also please check out my sliver deck I think it could help you a lot Daddy WTF is that thing? though your deck is preatty powerfull as it is your missing a few key cards like Bonescythe Sliver or Magma Sliver witch are simply wonderful. +1

The only reason I still think Virulent Sliver is still viable is because of the stacking effect with multiple in play. The poisonous does stack. If you have 3 Virulent Sliver in play your slivers effectively have poisonous 3.
502.69b If a creature has multiple instances of poisonous, each triggers separately.
All slivers have poisonous 1. Then all slivers have poisonous 1. Then all slivers have poisonous 1.
So either I'm misunderstanding your statement above about how you feel poisonous stack with slivers or you just didn't feel it was effective enough which is fine. Hope this helped.

Bonescythe Sliver & Magma Sliver are to high costing for the tempo of this deck, plus you don't really need double strike, my creatures should be big enough to deal with anything that might require it, plus first strike works just fine, and I have Striking Sliver for that which is just a one drop. The only one I would consider would be Magma Sliver Which is sorta of similar to Sliver Legion however it's just attack and requires tapping I feel like it would slow down the pace, but I'll do some play testing and see how it works.

Wow I had no idea Virulent Sliver stacked like that, thats actually very interesting, I'm definitely going to do some testing with it, see how often if I can win with poisonous counters before I would normally tap out with just "average" damage. However my only concern is to make it affectively work I would probably have to add at least 3 (maybe 4) for the stacking affect to really be "worth it" and I'm not really to sure what to take out, I'm thinking maybe a couple of Heart Sliver and or Venom Sliver ... defiantly trying this out on Cockatrice... Thanks!

I'm testing a modern version of the deck and it can consistently win turn 5 with minimal disruptions because of Virulent Sliver . I know turn 5 in Legacy is a slightly different idea, but the fact of the matter is, a good card is good. But with your deck having access to Muscle Sliver who knows. That completely changes the turn count itself.
I hope you have luck with this deck, I've been debating on whether I should try legacy slivers or stick to just running EDH and Modern variations.

I have a sliver deck i need to add to this site using Thorncaster Sliver + Virulent Sliver to double up on poison counters with unblockable instant damage.
October 30, 2014 6:28 p.m.
Thorncaster Sliver doesn't double up poison counters since the flinged damage does not count as combat damage.

@CocoCrispy1337 "Wow I had no idea Virulent Sliver stacked like that..."
A quick history lesson as to why Flash is banned in Legacy (for atleast one reason): Most people's favorite Flash target was Protean Hulk quickly followed by a Heart Sliver and four Virulent Slivers. Island drop plus Simian Spirit Guide, Elvish Spirit Guide, or Lotus Petal means 20 poison on turn 1.
+1 btw

Sliver Hivelord is just overpowered in a deck like this, maybe move it to the mainboard. Groundshaker Sliver is pretty sweet late game, against a midrange deck or Abzan outlast. Put it in your sideboard maybe. +1

I noticed that not everyone noticed the combo between Venom Sliver and Thorncaster Sliver. Lemme just destroy all your creatures before blockers are declared, homie.

Might I suggest Phantasmal Image , it's really useful as it can copy any of your lords and gain the shroud ability from Crystalline Sliver
