Round 1 Esper Control 0 - 2

I kept a bad hand, (thoughtseize, downfall, 4 lands) on a mulligan, and had terrible top decks. Game 2 looked promising, but a string of excellent draws from the esper player sealed the deal.

Round 2 Green blue devotion 2 - 0

My deck has never run better. Literally. He did not resolve a creature with power larger than 1 throughout the 2 games. Completely wrecked him. Although I felt terrible because of how upset I made him, he was on verge of tears even though he was older than me???

Round 3 Abzan Midrange 1 - 1

I usually have a good matchup against Abzan, but game 2 I barely lost with a Polukranos, World Eater, 1 sphinx and a ancient on the table and no cards in hand. He top decked a Siege Rhino with me at 3 life, and I would have won the game next turn. Game 2 was drawn out, do to a late game Whip of Erebos from the Abzan player. I eventually "ate" him with prognostic sphinx, but time was called. I gave him the wins because I had to leave early.
