As a reference for the name I direct to Urban Dicionary (I know, I know but it works):
Bance
1 Characterized by spastic movement, often including flailing arms and/or random leg jerks. Sometimes encompasses jazz hands and spirit fingers. 2 Ill-formed and poorly choreographed or executed dance movements 3 Bad + Dance = BANCE
Going off Reid Duke's bant article that can be seen here: http://www.starcitygames.com/article/27772_Prophet-Bant-With-Born-Of-The-Gods.html
This deck has a dumb amount of card draw and can drown any deck in it's card advantage.
One of the big changes I did from Reid Duke's deck is switching out Prophet of Kruphix for Archangel of Thune. This is because I found that that it wasn't too good to get a Prophet without card draw and I really just wanted almost every creature and card in generally to be a threat that needs to be answered.
And now for the card breakdown:
Ajani's Pridemate: This guy is sooo sick in this deck. Combines with Archangel of Thune for all the counters, combines with Scavenging Ooze for some potentially blazing speed kills and combines with Courser of Kruphix excellently as well, also helps with fast kills. (Replaced Precinct Captain who was too small, too slow and didn't do "enough work".)
Archangel of Thune: A lot of cards in this deck have potential to win by themselves and this is one of them. Adds some nice life gain and pump for the whole team. Also, it can act as a Fireball with Scavenging Ooze.
Brimaz, King of Oreskos: Dare I compare Brimaz to Geist of St. Traft? If not answered this card just runs away with the game. (Part of my 1-2 aggro hit against control (Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Precinct Captain.....No longer applies, the deck is more midrange now.)
Courser of Kruphix: Serves as additional "combo" with Archangel of Thune, similar to Scavenging Ooze, as well as having a large rear end and giving some card advantage when a land is on top.
Ephara, God of the Polis: This is probably one of my favorite new gods. Works wonders with Brimaz, King of Oreskos. Helps the deck just keep ticking even against control and not hard to get active with the help of Detention Sphere.
Karametra, God of Harvests: Thins the deck like crazy when she gets running, which leads to better Epharas and Garruks. Easiest god to activate in this deck so it's a pretty sweet attacker as well. Both gods provide a bit of Supreme Verdict resistance.
Polukranos, World Eater: A great big beater that can just sit in front of almost any creature...I'm looking at you Blood Baron of Vizkopa. Great at stalling aggro and sweeping creatures.
Prime Speaker Zegana: This thing can just steal games. Draw a bunch of card, get a big creature and beat face...or die and set up again with the cards you drew.
Scavenging Ooze: I wanted the Archangel of Thune and Scavenging Ooze "Fireball" ability to be able to steal games. Also, late game this guy is a huge threat that can just steal a game fast and helps provide resistance against control.
Sylvan Caryatid: Basically does the following things: ramps, fixs colors, and good defense. All of this while not being able to get it legs cut out from underneath it.
Detention Sphere: My catch-all removal that helps get devotion for both gods.
Bident of Thassa: This deck attacks a lot and has a lot of creatures/creature tokens so this triggers a lot when it's in play.
Combos: (Really just strong synergies)
