I don't believe Oath of Jace's scry triggers Tutelage. I had Oath in the initial build of the deck, but came to not like it as while 3 draws in one go is very nice, the fact I can't recur it out of my graveyard via Jace hurts a bit.
I came to find that Day's Undoing sadly doesn't work with Tutelage as it removes all triggers from the stack, including the mill triggerrs to Tutelage. I also had Crush of Tentacles at one point, but the fact it bounces nonland permanents (such as Tutelage) made me not like it. If anything, I might sideboard Thing in the Ice Flip for the inevitable bounce and possible secondary win con.

I'd go down 2 lightning axe and a magmatic insight and tormenting voice each to put in a playset of Thing in the Ice Flip - I was absolutely crushed by a very similar deck yesterday - having cheap powerful walls stop a lot of threats and with the flip trigger which clears the board, it's a no brainer with all the instants and sorceries you're running too :)

Startled Awake Flip and Forgotten Creation might be of help too if you're running Thing in the Ice Flip, but then it's the old question of what to drop...

One thing Oath of Jace does do is serve as a buffer against Dromoka's Command. With how strong white is, I would be shocked if Command doesn't start being seen much more. It can be splashed in any deck running white, and it gets rid of Silkwrap, Stasis Snare, and Always Watching . Losing Sphinx's Tutelage to a Command just seems like one of the strongest plays against you.

Yea, after seeing the results from this last weekend, I'll give Oath of Jace another shot.
I'll cut down an insight too, though the Lightning Axes are very powerful. If I didn't have them, I'd probably lose to Angels.
I originally had Startled Awake in the deck as a one of, but every time I drew it, I wished I had something else. I feel like Forgotten Creation would have a similar effect since it turns on most player's removal, where Chandra can just do it immediately.

I run mill almost exclusively. Oath of Jace is beyond fantastic and should be in your starting 60. Replacing Magmatic Insight with Oath would be the best. Oath excels because it is an ongoing ping to the tutelage when JVP or Chandra are onboard.
Lastly, you need a reset button. Day's Undoing or Crush of Tentacles are probably required in SB since you're not running Languish to squash the weenie horde.
