Pulled a Nahiri, the Harbinger in a pre release and decided to make a control deck. I use the term "control" very loosely because I am generally an aggro player.

The Way It Is Supposed To Work

Use Grasp of Darkness, Lightning Axe and other removal to get rid of early threats. Insolent Neonate acts as an early threat that can chump and draw if needed.

Turn 3, Liliana, Heretical Healer   comes out and can either bait removal or be flipped by a sac Insolent Neonate.

Turn 4, pull out Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet or Thunderbreak Regent, start threatening our opponent.Nahiri, the Harbinger also becomes available and lets us start drawing cards or exiling our opponent's threats. The goal is to use her -8 to get Archangel Avacyn. Also possible to use it to get Goblin Dark-Dwellers to hit a free removal spell. Also, possible to go get Tamiyo's Journal. I'm only running one of Nahiri because she's not completely necessary to win.

Turn 5, Ob Nixilis Reignited becomes available and lets us draw more, kill stuff, and work towards his emblem. Avacyn is also available.

Turn 7, Descend upon the Sinful evens up a bad board and keeps our walkers alive.
