Bronze Bombshell . It does things.

daemon_panda It do does things. Sadly it would only get people mad at me, and this deck is just supposed to make people upset after the board state is super out of control. Thanks for the suggestion, but this deck isn't supposed to be killing anyone.

Rust Elemental is good.

The Thought Lash combo is mean as hell, but with Conjured Currency it'll turn into a fun game of pass-the-bomb. Neat :)

I quite enjoy Thought Lash , it saves my skin and messes up other people. And the whole point is that no-one gets to keep their stuff, so I don't really mind. Anyways, I can also pass it off with something like Puca's Mischief or just Zedruu

Why no Aggressive Mining ? Seems like it'd be perfect.

@taschneide Mainly because I forgot about it. It will go in immediately.

+1 For awesome name. It goes straight into my collection of EDH decks I would buy if I didn't already have 4.

@jandrobard Thanks for the upvote! Also if you take out the lands and Sol Ring , this whole deck was maybe about 40 dollars to build, and I already had all the lands and such. I like to build cheap decks, I have 6 EDH and counting.

Also its great if you are playing against people who like competitive decks like Zur the Enchanter . I had a three hour long game against a Zur and Jhoira of the Ghitu , and I finally won by milling them both out and controlling both of their generals

No Hive Mind ing the white epic spell for Form of the Dragon with Paradox Haze ?

October 24, 2014 11:50 a.m.

lemmingllama says... #12

@Minerva I'm assuming you mean Enduring Ideal . Both it and Form of the Dragon are quite fun, but Enduring Ideal can completely shut me out of a game, and Form of the Dragon kills me as often as it kills other people. I'd rather have win conditions that can't kill me in one turn or less, such as Thought Lash . I removed a similar win con in the form of Transcendence since it would kill me more often than help.

It's the second deck of yours, other than Mimeoplasm, that i also have and where i leave a comment xD

Pyromancer's Swath is pretty sweet to donate, and also Donate is very useful.

As mana rocks i like Pentad Prism and Sphere of the Suns. Just abuse and discharge them, wrap them, and drop these presents :)

@MattDovah Pyromancer's Swath is pretty fun. I might have to find a spot for it.

Donate just doesn't do a lot. If I really need to give away things, I'll use Zedruu

I like the idea of Sphere of the Suns, might have to add that in here. Thanks for the comments!

I just made a zedruu deck haven't posted it on here yet but i will in the next day or two but i do have a few up on here, how is yours to play ? I also made a couple of infect EDH decks but don't know how to test them on here against others. If you have a moment check some of my decks out thanks

It is quite fun to play, although this one is designed for multiplayer rather than singleplayer. Typically the first couple turns are just ramping and trying to look unthreatening. Then we start playing our weird cards and survive off of Zedruu card draw. Finally we resolve a couple stax-type cards and by then its too late for the other players to stop us. Very fun, and typically the opponents will concede before we actually beat them. I would recommend running it through the playtester, which is at the top left hand side.

If you want to playtest against another deck, just open both up in the playtester in different tabs, then just run it through as if you were playing a game.

Thanks for the commentary

Very Cool my Zedruu would be multiplayer design, but my infect 1 vs 1 French rulesIt be funny to see mine vs yours go against each others..lol I'll send a message when i do, likely tommorow i'll post it

Sure. I have a feeling that you will win, but if I can keep you off creatures for a little bit then I can land a Ward of Bones and keep your creatures away from you, or otherwise make the board ridiculous.

Love Zedruu, and been trying to make her work well for my own preferences of play style. One I'm seeing that you might consider, Serendib Djinn especially if you've given this same player Statecraft (and even better if it's a gift to a mono-blue player). Rust Elemental is another good one to give away. If they have a lot of artifacts, then they have to start blowing up their own board state, if they have few, it's a reliable 4 damage per turn to them.

lemmingllama says... #21

@wereotter Thanks for the suggestions! Both cards are ones that I have considered, but they also require Zedruu or Bazaar Trader to be useful. I tend to try and not rely on Zedruu, mainly since my playgroup uses a lot of creature removal. Anther reason is that this deck is designed for multiplayer chaos, we want cards that can lock out every opponent at once. Focusing on one opponent can get us killed before we can achieve a lock.

Stasis! also board in Dream Halls deck looks awesome inspired me to build a zedruu deck. it would be hilarious if you played Stasis + Frozen AEther + Chronatog

PS: you may be a sociopath.

@Mr joker I'm glad that you appreciate this deck. I didn't do the original deck design, Mr MagicalHacker designed the original deck. I just fixed it up so that it was cheaper and more efficient. If you do happen to make a deck, feel free to post the link on my profile or here and I can give some advice.

Stasis is somewhat of a bad idea since we have no real way of untapping our permanents, and we can already achieve a similar lock by combining lots of various cards together.

Dream Halls is one that I would love to have, but I currently do not own a copy. It would be added in here in an instant if I got one.

That combo is a hilarious one as well. I wish you luck in adding it in, sadly Frozen AEther wouldn't be good enough here without some more Stasis and Winter Orb shenanigans.

hmm okay here is the link to my deck It's the thought that counts... (Zedruu)

here are some more suggestions:

  • Humility : okay so this is one of my favorite cards i can think of for your deck. okay so you can't draw cards of zedruu anymore but it makes for absolutely miserable board states. and will slow the game to a crawl until someone gets rid of it.

  • Opalescence : you have a lot of enchantments and making them creatures is even more confusing and crazy.

  • Wild Research : the best tutor you can in the deck.

  • Mystic Barrier : more fun shenanigans.

  • Braids, Conjurer Adept : people get huge creatures out and are ready to bash face but o wait they can't attack you!

lemmingllama says... #25

Humility is one that I haven't been able to find as of yet. It would be quite fun, but I first need a copy.

Opalescence isn't one that I would consider. My playgroup doesn't run a lot of enchantment/artifact hate, but they run loads of creature hate. I don't really want to lose my carefully crafted chaos so easily.

Wild Research is one that I have considered, but it gives too much consistency. The fun of this deck is that it always plays out differently, and to terrible results. Plus its sometimes fun to not be able to find a win condition.

Mystic Barrier and Braids, Conjurer Adept are both in the deck already. They are pretty great.
