Yeah. I will slowly be evolving this deck as I get the more expensive cards, and hopefully it will eventually turn into weird and hilarious stuff incarnate. It's kind of hard to suggest things since good cards have no real place in here.
Ice Cauldron doesn't really do anything other than delay the casting of your spells. My playgroup already knows how it works, so it wouldn't be a good enough inclusion.
Godhead of Awe is pretty great, I would also be hated to death if I tried. Humility is impossible to answer without enchantment removal. Godhead of Awe just eats creature removal and boardwipes all day.

Helo friend i just wanted to tell i'm going to make my zedruu deck crazyer and meaner like yours and i wanted your help if possible anyway here are some cards i thought of for my deck but figuerd you could definitely use - Illicit Auction okay so this would be an amazing adission and alllow crazy awful things to happen in youre games- Grand Melee amazing especially if you're protected by any of the enchantments that do so.- Limited Resources this card will draw tons of hate and make for crazy fun shenanigans.- Thieves' Auction just another chaotic card to add to the collection
Note that some of these may alredy be in your deck

@Mr joker The best way to make a chaos deck is to sleeve it up and play with friends. Whichever cards make them groan the most are the ones that you should be playing. Anyways, you might have a hard time making a more ridiculous deck!
Illicit Auction is a pretty fun one, but I find that I normally would want to use it on other people's creatures rather than my own, and that draws hate. I try not to make people angry before I establish a lock.
Grand Melee makes you get attacked a lot. Losing Zedruu makes us even sadder.
Limited Resources is banned in EDH. So maybe not the best inclusion.
Thieves' Auction is in here, and it is one of my favourite ones to resolve. I love this card so much.

How do you get Celestial dawn to work good, when it start off turning your stuff to white i know its good, then zedruu can't give it away if i am only white land but i must be missing something ..lol

@marioman77 Celestial Dawn makes all your lands Plains, and you may spend white mana as mana of any color. This means that you can tap three lands and activate Zedruu's ability, since they all generate white mana that can be spent as if it was any color.

I know you've said you're going more toward the chaos end of things, but had thought for my own deck, and passing along for your consideration, using Darksteel Relic as one of your give aways. Unless the other player has the right cards to combo with it, it will just sit there providing neither benefit nor detriment, unless someone REALLY wants to waste an exile artifact spell to keep you from gaining life and drawing cards. I just took out Mana Flare from my own deck for that so that I don't help out anyone else.

@wereotter I'm glad to hear that you enjoy Zedruu. Darksteel Relic is one that I have thought of before, but I am trying to keep this deck full of cards that will immediately affect the board state as soon as it is played. Darksteel Relic does allow us to draw more cards, but it also can be a waste of mana and time. I'd probably add another land in here before I add it, since the lands are beneficial to me.
The main reason for Mana Flare in this deck is to help in the late game when I am the only one with a lot of cards. Being able to cast all of them and give them away on our upkeep means that we can continue the chaos and draw more cards. I never play it before turn 6, and I normally don't bother using it unless I have a Steel Golem or Grid Monitor on the aggro player, or something else useful like Statecraft.

This is basically one of the strongest Zedruu decks I've seen (including my own well loved) but it seems you could use that 2 drop card draw dude pretty effectively in this one. Also try sphere of safety-esque enchantments, donating it to whoever needs it most along with other enchantments like ghostly prison etc.

@NocturneOfShadow Thanks for the compliment, I'm glad that you approve of my deck. Its a blast to play, although I rarely win with it unless they just give up. About 80% of my wins are just my opponents conceding since they don't want to play it through.
If you mean Humble Defector, I just added him into the list. He is pretty great.
In my current meta, Propaganda type effects aren't quite as necessary. I rarely get attacked in the early game, and by the time they want to attack then I can make combat insignificant using Crumbling Sanctuary or Mystic Barrier or some other effect. I will likely add them in eventually if I see more aggro, probably replacing Teferi's Moat.
Thanks for the suggestions!

Hey buddy i'm back, lately ive been looking into chaotic cards for my zedruu deck and was inspired to come here and share my discoveries (Note that im to lazy to read through your decklist again and you probably have a few of these)
Fight or Flight this card aca. Be nice to your allies or stop half an opponent's army.
Shahrazad thought at 30 bucks and expensive this is the grandfather of chaos and will provoc you're opponents to groan as loud as they possibly can not mattering if you topdeck this turn 2 or 20 it will always be hated
Otherworld Atlas though it may not seem like a chaos card it soon becomes one wenn every player gets a free ancestral recal on your turns
Meekstone this one makes commander misserable for your opponent being that the deck doesn't run to many creatures most the time you wont care
Winter Orb again slowing the game down and drawing cards of zedruu is a valuable tool for zedruu deck's
Portcullis and Tide of War these are excelent ways of enfuriantig opponents and making a mess of combate

@Mr joker Sounds like you are having lots of fun with your build! I'll need to check it out again if you've been adding all of these cards.
Fight or Flight is pretty great, but you are always going to be attacked by the most relevant creature. I would consider it, but it doesn't seem as competitive as some other options. Also the worst part is that if you give it to an opponent, they get to rule other people's combat steps.
Shahrazad is banned in every format, and for good reason. My inner troll wishes that it wasn't banned, but it makes games take too long.
Otherworld Atlas isn't really necessary. We should already be getting tons of card draw from Zedruu, and helping our opponents isn't always the best game plan. Also it isn't ideal if we are giving it away.
Meekstone is one that I've been meaning to add into here. Its pretty amazing
Winter Orb is one that I decided not to play since it gets too cruel too fast, this deck is sneaky since it doesn't go off until turn 6ish. Winter Orb also helps the Brago, King Eternal and Derevi, Empyrial Tactician players in my playgroup, so I decided not to run it.
Portcullis is one that I've been intending to add at some point. I just have no idea what I would cut for it. It's pretty great
Tide of War is too expensive for it's effect. I considered running it, but I had to cut it to fit in other cards.

I like using Atlas on occasion. Makes everything a lot more fun tbh and sometimes when playing zedruu you just want to be everyone's friend (kill me and you don't get fun stuff anymore!) >:(

@NocturneOfShadow I would probably play Temple Bell if I just wanted the group hug aspect, but this is more of a chaos deck. Additionally, one of the most consistent win conditions for this deck is Shared Fate, and giving everyone else cards means that they can outmill me. I play Forced Fruition if I want the hugging to start in full, but Otherworld Atlas is too slow or is detrimental.
It might seem that I am shooting down a lot of card ideas, but I've also done a lot of playtesting with this deck and tried to get the most chaotic build put together. Finding the right balance of politics and just messing with everyone is pretty difficult, so cards have to keep that balance while also directly affecting the global boardstate.

@Mr joker The banned list is those cards and also anything on the Vintage banned list (basically all of the ante, manual dexterity, and conspiracies) found here. Shahrazad is banned since people would start copying it or doing games inside games inside games, making everyone have a really bad time.
There is a great written description of why Shahrazad is banned in every WotC format, found on the Gatherer site. I'd suggest you read it if you want to understand why it is so banned.
January 28, 2015 10:35 a.m.
hmm nooks like you right shaharazad is indeed banned in edh all though for casual magic you could stillplay it :)

True. Sadly I don't want to spend $30 on a card that my playgroup won't let me play. I used to have a copy of Shahrazad, but I pawned it off for $40.
January 29, 2015 4:22 p.m.
yeah to bad i love shahrazad ;(. here are a couple more sudgestions Taniwha good way to slow down an opponent and laboratory maniac so you can win on ocasion.
also how does your deck prevent losing from running out of cards? this happens to mine all the time and i don't always want to win of laboratory maniac because then the game is over and i can't keep making people misserable...

@NocturneOfShadow I chose to not run Contested War Zone mainly for the reason that it slows down our game. I play Rainbow Vale since I have an understanding with my playgroup that they will pass it back if I give it to them, unless it doesn't matter anymore. Contested War Zone means that we have no way of getting it back once it is taken, and that means we have to wait to cast Zedruu or otherwise cause chaos.
@Mr joker I actually run Timesifter to ensure I don't get milled out. When I don't have a deck anymore, then I can't reveal cards and I never take a turn. Sitting behind a Timesifter and Solitary Confinement means that I never die.
As for Taniwha, I just found it lackluster. I would cast it and then I couldn't gift it until my lands were phased in again along with him, then they would proceed to kill me with the 7/7. It is a decent card, but it also isn't as good as Shimmer. I would probably play Shimmer over Taniwha if I did want to add in phasing.
January 29, 2015 6:51 p.m.
Awsome i hadn't considerd Timesifter but its pretty cool and chaotic! Hey quick question wenn Shimmer enters the battle field am i suposed to chose chose basic or nonbasic lands or plains, mountains etc?

hmm okay thats really all i can think of maybe an Ice Cauldron would be really funny to give away and try to use and also id add Godhead of Awe with like humilty makes the board miserable but you still draw cards off zedruu.
