A samurai deck inspired by the show Samurai Champloo. Listening to its soundtrack is highly recommended while reading about or piloting this deck:

This deck aims to represent the show's protagonists: Jin, Mugen and Fuu.

Jin the Ronin - Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest

"I have no desire to kill you. In fact, you’re not worth killing. Killing you would only tarnish my blade."

As a child, Jin studied the blade in a dojo, where he became the top student for a renown master. After an incident that forced him to leave his old world behind, Jin roams the lands to find purpose.

Sadly, no blue legendary samurais have been printed, so Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest has been chosen to represent a wise and extremely skilled fighter. It also enables us to splash into red and white, to represent the other members of the party.

Mugen the Outlaw - Fumiko the Lowblood

"Against a load of pansies like you, one of me is more than enough!"

Mugen had to fight for every scrap he ever got, and only trusts one thing - himself. While not classically trained, he grew to be a very resourceful and aggressive fighter.

Fumiko the Lowblood represents his taunting nature, as well as how he can easily take on multiple foes. They both also have no ties to nobility; Mugen grew up in the lawless Ryukyu Islands, and Fumiko is a "lowblood".

Fuu the Spirited - Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker

"Alright, that’s enough! You two made me a promise. You haven’t forgotten, have you? Until we find the 'Samurai who smells of Sunflowers', you two are not allowed to kill each other!"

Fuu is upbeat and innocent, and her quest to find the Sunflower Samurai is the glue that kept this party of wild cards together.

Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker was chosen due to the physical resemblance, and since Fuu has a pure soul (white). Similarly to Michiko, Fuu is also

Through multiple wild antics, the party ends up attracting unwanted attention, justifying Public Enemy and goad effects.
