Perfect_Phyrexia: My bad, I assumed that since they chose the target, they would be able to select their own hexproof creature. It seems that isn't the case.
Which means I just learned a new thing! If someone casts Path to Exile, I could actually Redirect it onto their OWN Geist of Saint Traft!

Is there any cheap way to recur Lethal Vapors every turn? If so I will have to start working on a new type of commander deck > : )
March 23, 2016 2:55 a.m.
kengiczar: when you say cheap way to recur, do you mean you intend to destroy it and bring it back each turn, or you just want to keep it in play? becasue if so, I have seen others play Pithing Needle naming Lethal Vapors so people can't activate the ability.

I'm not really sure what you're getting at kengiczar... I doubt opponents would be foolish enough to use the activated ability once they see that you could recur the card. I really think Tainted AEther is where you'd want to be here.

Well creature-less decks with the Pithing Needle do exist for that card but its mostly good for multiplayer in a 60 card format.

Tainted AEther is better imo but making players skip turns is fun :) Thats why cards like Fact or Fiction are so loved.

Maybe I don't understand. What does Fact or Fiction have to do with making people skip turns?

I'm sure this was asked before, but why not Zur? So much easier to dump out most of your broken, annoying enchantments.

Hmmmm. I don't think anyone ever has asked "Why not Zur?" before.
Really, its mostly because Oloro, Ageless Ascetic was the first commander I ever played (I came back to the game when Commander 2013 launched), and the deck just naturally evolved from there. From a design point of view, I suppose because in the deck, EVERYTHING is earned (well, except for whatever I cheat into play with Academy Rector, lol). I want the fact that this is punishing and annoying to be even more so because I did it all fairly, and there was nothing the opponents could do to stop it. I don't want someone who loses to it to be able to lie to themselves and make up excuses of why they REALLY lost... Y'know?

Hi there! I play a Sen Triplets deck that is a combo control with a hint of stax thrown in. I really like your philosophy of dishing back the pain to those who want to take the fun out of EDH. That is what my Sen Triplets deck is turning into because people don't want to play her (and I will admit, the deck has gotten good enough now where playing for fun is not a thing with her unless it is with the right people). I was wondering if you had any pointers for making my deck similar to yours? Any advice (as well as a +1) would be very much appreciated! The deck is Sen Stooges.

trinitok Thanks for the support. I'd be happy to take a look at your deck when I can.
@YourGod Unfortunately, it's just the wrong colour
K00lDudE1 Thanks for the support. Although Storm Crow is technically a legal 5-colour general, alas, there can be only one, and Storm Crow is widely considered OP. Don't need anyone crying fowl

hey i know this deck is pretty developed but i want to just shout out a "tainted aether" since it seems fitting

Hey mathguy124. Yes. I love me some Tainted AEther, and even ran it at one point. Unfortunately it nonboed too often with Luminarch Ascension as a wincon, so I cut it for the same of having a finisher. Great suggestion though!

yeah yeah yeah...you got a Tabernacle...big whoop wanna fight about it? Haha, just looking at some old decks I had flagged. Awesome to see such a change in it. Keep up the good work!

Very nice deck there, very fun to play, a nightmare to play against. I would recommend adding Arcane Laboratory or Rule of Law to stop your opponents from doing much in their turns. Just as another way of stopping them. Very good deck though. Definitely a +1 from me.

Deckologist Lol... I got 2 actually but who's keeping track... ;) Thanks for the continued support.
K00lDud32 Good suggestions. I did consider adding them, but have yet to really find a strong need for them. I do keep them in my back pocket though, and who knows, they may make it in sometime.

I saw this featured and thought to myself "Wow, another Oloro deck for someone who doesn't get the point of commander," and then I saw the description. Rock on!

Thanks gonki. Sometimes hyper competitive multiplayermultiplayer commander is fun, bit most of the time, it's just not my jam.

That is a lot of flash and money for a Fun Police style deck that only comes out occasionally to punish dickheads.
Impressive though.

Yeah I know... But when some of the core pieces cost what they do, you might as well smash face in style (or smash fun)
Perfect_Phyrexia says... #1
Oh, I thought it target, does it avoid that through the choosing action Sleazebag? Spreading Plague is really good :)
