Rhox Faithmender and Felidar Sovereign might work well.

oh, and Archangel of Thune would work well. maybe also consider some extort stuff, like Blind Obedience .

@ Alec_7 Thanks for the suggestions however the cards you mention come out to slow and are not worth the mana cost in this deck that mostly relies on cheap creatures.

What about the following suggestions?

Lands
-5 Plains
+1 Emeria, The Sky Ruin
+2 Mistveil Plains (Squadron Hawk recur)
+2 Windbrisk Heights (since you're running Spectral Procession )

Sideboard:
+3 Leyline of Sanctity
+2 Kataki, War's Wage (Stony Silence is nice but in my experience against Affinity this is much better)
-2 Suppression Field (Hoses your Chalice of Life  Flip and Martyr of Sands !)

I personally LOVE Lifegain decks and I try to make all my decks based off of it =p You could also run Red/White and use Norin the Wary ?

It is very unlike for Emeria, The Sky Ruin to ever activate so I rather not run it.

Mistveil Plains could be useful I might test that later.

I might just add Windbrisk Heights I was considering it before you suggested it but thank you for reminding me about that card.

Stony Silence does not always have to be for affinity as their are other decks that use artifacts and I prefer it over Kataki, War's Wage as it is harder to remove but Kataki is better against affinity. So I will add it to the maybeboard.

Suppression Field That is true I might just remove it.

Leyline of Sanctity Yeah I wanted to add this card but I didn't have any space for it so if I remove Suppression Field or any other sideboard card this card is going in for sure.

I might have splash a color but I want to keep it mono-white because when I make multi-color decks I can't stand it when I don't have the proper lands to make it. D:

Anyways thank you for the suggestions :3

Auriok Champion costs 1 more, but it has protection from most removal and can serve as a great blocker against those colors as well. Worth running imo.

Saljen I have her in the maybeboard I usually prefer the other soulsisters over her because they come out on turn 1 but the protection is really good I would add two of her to the sideboard if I had space. Maybe I could take out Chalice of Life  Flip if it does not preform well because I have not tested it yet.

-1 of the "Soul Sisters," 7 is the ideal number

+1 Elspeth, Knight-Errant

January 2, 2014 7:12 p.m.

What about Angel's Feather is great with Ajani's Pridemate ,also you could have Rest for the Weary and Felidar Sovereign <----love this guy.+1

I have never actually seen a "ideal" number for Soul Sisters rather I have seen a range from 6-8, however I might consider 7. Elspeth, Knight-Errant could be a really good card in this deck and I will consider running her. Thank you for the suggestions. :3

LordSpannenberg

While Angel's Feather is good the Soul Sisters are better because they are creatures and are one mana cheaper. As for Rest for the Weary I believe this deck already has enough lifegain and Felidar Sovereign is too expensive to play. But thank you for the suggestions anyway. :3

Your description lists Squadron Hawk as a one drop, is that just a typo?

Hero of Bladehold ? considering you need creatures to enter the battlefield to gain life, whenever he attack, you get 2 free 1/1, also Path of Bravery could prove useful for more lifegain and it also boost your creatures. is Hero of Bladehold and Path of Bravery are both on the Battlefield, it's 3 life whenever he attack minimum!

January 7, 2014 10:57 p.m.

Blizzicane says... #17

I find Hero of Bladehold as a good card for after being board wiped but I already have cards to deal with boardwipes in the sideboard. However Path of Bravery could be useful I might put a one in to test it.

Thank you for the suggestions. :3

I am not sure why you are playing Spectral Procession over Lingering Souls . Is it because you are worried about Scavenging Ooze ? Or you don't want to splash black. A black splash gives you Thoughtseize and Deathrite Shaman (which can give you a turn 2 Spectral Procession ).

Yeah I am trying to keep this mono-white. On turn 1 I rather play a soul sister or Serra Ascendant into Martyr of Sands rather than Deathrite Shaman plus I need a land in the grave to even get Deathrite Shaman effect with no fetch lands in this deck I would have to rely on the opponent to do that for me which lowers my chances of a land being in the graveyard early on.

shinobigarth Well this is more competitive orientated so Felidar Sovereign has no place in here not to mention that this deck can't sustain a six drop anyway. As for Suture Priest his damage effect is minimal I rather just have a soul sister for one.

Anyways thanks for the suggestions and the upvote! :3

if this is meant to be competitive aggro i don't think the Windbrisk Heights is helping at all

Windbrisk Heights is a very common card in the soul sister archetype mana base as I can pull it off pretty easily and its also card advantage its also usually played as a 3-4 of but I don't like too many tapped lands myself. Also be aware that soul sisters is not a Burn/Affinity speed level deck unless its gets of the turn 2 combo it uses life gain to slow the opposition while I either build up an army with Honor of the Pure or swing with a 6/6 Serra Ascendant off of all the lifegain.

I might add in Archangel as that card is quite good but I will have to make adjustments later to test that configuration. :3

December 8, 2014 2:50 a.m.

shinobigarth says... #24

hmm, it seems only common in soul sister if there are more higher cost spells that are good to drop mid combat, i don't see it in every soul sister deck...

shinobigarth

Well not everyone runs it but from what I have seen its quite common and since I only run two the tempo loss does not effect me really unless I some how get a hand with both of my copies. I was planning to test Archangel to better utilize it as well which is why I will be doing some changes soon but right now I am more focus on my others decks so the update will have to be put off (not to mention I have finals XP). :3
